Automated Blogger Script?

Professor asked 3 years ago
Is anyone aware of any automated Blogger/guest book spider scripts online? I am certain they exist and are being used to inflate links by a number of sites (mostly casino run sites, but several affiliates I know of are doing it too). I am curious to see how this script works and to evaluate it on a few sites Google dropped anyway.

Hey if they are going to drop us with Florida and Austin why not?

Nope, got side tracked with other projects. (theres always too many projects with too little time)

But I have not forgotten this pursuit it may just be what the .md ordered if you catch my drift….

Hello Kevin.

My expertise stretches to being able to string a coupla pages of html together..

I admit to posting in conversational style – it takes all day sometimes to converse with someone what would be maybe be a 1 minute conversation said face to face in person.

I think a part of the webmasters job is to try to decipher what the search engines are doing. It is important. It could make one a rich man <span title=” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” />

I’m assuming you are referring to me as Mr. Polite?

If ones site gets dropped for no reason – what do you think it might be? I doubt the sites are uncrawlable and i doubt the gambing content is the problem

Only the search engine knows… If I had the answer, I’de be a rich man.

By the way, my comment was in no way a slight on your expertise. It would just be better if you communicated your ideas a littlle more clearly.

Hello Mr polite.

If ones site gets dropped for no reason – what do you think it might be? I doubt the sites are uncrawlable and i doubt the gambing content is the problem.

Might be the linking no?

If so why exacerbate the possibility with a linking script yes?

What the heck are you talking about?

Okay I give up.

Am sure it’s not the content that gets the sites knocked, nor the coding, must be the linking and mimicing dmoz is a better thought than link scripts imo. A nice clean start.

End – Peace.

Who goes there?. Is it joeyl or joeyl?.. Crazy board.

You have a few sites Prof – people with 1 site only would bite the dust if the same happened to them.. Worst of all not even really knowing why.

If it were pagerank disappearing one has been penalised and more links won’t help I guess – no?

Being dropped from decent placings I see a fair amount of confusion about. You can tell i know little Prof so the chances on me having remotely any idea of what to do would be slim.

I am guessing google is knocking sites backward on the secondary results. An experiment of joeyl’s Prof – shh don’t laugh. (On 1 site) Remove all links to ones own dropped sites – inward and out. Then link to every site in your chosen category in Dmoz(whether you’re in dmoz or not) and try to get some links back from those sources. The idea is to try to please the secondary check algo’s..Ish

– really I have no idea but want to know like i’m sure you do – know what i mean? It’s important.

Dropped as in not in the serps?

Dropped as in no pagerank or lowered pagerank or lower keyword positions?

Dropped?

Joeyl a great number of sites were dropped from the SERPS by Google during its last two major algorythem changes (Florida and Austin)

The sites themselves still have high PRs and back links they just no longer occupy positions in the serps where anyone would see them. So there is little reason NOT to experiment on them…

How does Google decipher the difference between a link from a webmaster commenting with quality info in a blog…

To a webmaster comment spamming blogs and guestbooks..

To a webmaster utilising such a script to do the same?..

Any ideas please?
