We’re using the laptop while away and it’s hard remembering to always check to see who is logged in on what forum!I personally like speaking to some affil. managers. It seems the ones we speak with ocassionaly on the phone are the ones that are always very willing to help out and answer emails immediately. Also they’re the ones we do well with for the most part.
But I do totally agree that the unannounced calls are the worst! So far most do make arrangements to call first. When I first moved to Australia, we got a few annoying calls, one at 4am even though we told that manager that we were 13 hours ahead of EST….some just don’t listen! 😡I AM SO GLAD That I am not the only person to HATE THE PHONE! I thought it was just me. I cant stand when I see “Call” on my caller ID…I know immediately its p robably a casino I really dont want to talk too lol.
Now, if they would just phone us when our payments are late…..

cell phone calls I hate , regular office phone no problem and I am glad that they actually will call me !

I also noticed they go in phases and when one calls the others end up calling about the same time or day !!! What I really hate is that to talk with some on the phone you have to basicaly stay up till 4 or 5 am or get up then and either way its a pain in the ass to deal with.i don’t like the cold calls telling me that they want their casino on all my sites on every front page, above the fold, because they will make me LOTS OF MONEY!! ugh.
but, i do like the calls from programs i work with regularly. for me there are often things that i won’t bother writing an email over, but if i have them on the phone i ‘ll run off a string of “oh yeah, why did (or why don’t ) you . . . .?”
granted, no one ever calls me at odd hours either, if they did, maybe i’d be less phone friendly.
