Click2Pay has been very difficult to work with. I supplied a P.O. Box when I signed up, because frankly, my physical address is irrelevant. A P.O. Box is a completely legal, legitimate address — you can’t get one without supplying a valid physical address and two forms of photo ID, in person at the post office.

So, while I think there is absolutely no need for them to have a “physical” address, they wouldn’t raise my security level unless I gave it to them. They have this 5 star security rating system. You need 1 star to deposit funds, 2 starts to withdraw, and I don’t know what the other stars are for. Right now, I only have 1 star.

I supplied everything they asked for, and I validated the account by giving them the dollar amount that they deposited into my bank account to see if the account was actually mine. (They deposit a small amount like $0.23, and then you log in to Click2Pay and enter that number into a form, to prove that you have access to the account where they deposited the money).

I did that 10 days ago, and I’m still waiting. Hopefully my players aren’t having as much trouble as I am. :eh:

    Why is click2pay declining you?

CLick2pay would not tell me why I was declined. But I made it a point to ask if it was permanent and they said if I was declined today I will be declined next month too. They won’t tell you anything.

Go to the drugstore and buy a prepaid Visa card. Load the card with $20 (minimum) Activate the card and and it will give you the visa card number immediately. Then go to Click2Pay and use that to open the account.

You do have to supply correct information for the prepaid debit card, including SS number, but Click2Pay accepts this information as verificiation of name, address etc.

    Worked for me :la-de-da:

Hmm, I already have a greendot prepaid card with funds on it, so your saying I can open a click2pay account using this card? Im a little confused with how that will work, I mean I went through a complete verification process with them that asked me past addressess, and several other questions to confirm my identity.

I’m saying it should work. That’s what I did :wink-wink

Have you considered ePassporte? That is our favorite method to pay our affiliates, and we will give a free ePassporte debit card for free to all our affiliates that bring a minimum of 3 players.

Yes, I have an epassporte account. But I am more less concerned with how affiliate programs are going to adjust to neteller not being available to usa residents. Mainly those who only offer click2pay, firepay, moneybookers and neteller. If they are not going to come up with a work around, then I have no choice but to stop promoting them. But I have to believe the places that don’t offer checks now will soon be doing so, but I would like to nip this in the bud now so I can put out the next fire on my list.

It would be music to my ears to learn that every aff program will be offering Epassporte for aff payments, then I can have one method for all transactions just like I did with neteller. Otherwise it really becomes a nightmare keeping up with everything. If affiliate programs are thinking Click2pay is going to be the easy answer, based on what I have read in the forums there are loads of people having problems getting an account, or at least keeping it unlocked. So I think there should be some talk now about an alternative that works for everyone such as epassporte, unless they want to triple their accounting dept work load and get into sending out triple the amount of checks and wires that they do now.

Either way I just need to make sure I have a way to get paid from all the places I promote, that is my main concern. Otherwise it is pointless trying to build up a customer base where I can’t get paid.

Click2Pay has been very difficult to work with. I supplied a P.O. Box when I signed up, because frankly, my physical address is irrelevant.

I signed up 2 weeks ago with a po box. I captured my telephone bill from my online account with my street address and emailed it to them. I forgot to write down the pan number and service rep let me login to the account to get it before I was certifed. They made the small transfer to my bank and I entered it on their site. I gave them just a savings account as well.

I didn’t wait for them to call I just called them, the phone sounds busy at first but if you wait about 5-8 seconds it rings. Might be just my location though.

Dont panic yet, Neteller is still there for us.

I don’t think it’s a question of Neteller “giving us the boot”. My understanding of the law is that it affects funds going in to Neteller, not funds coming from Neteller.

We will still be able to accept payments from affiliate programs, and use the debit card, or even withdraw funds to a bank account.

The law doesn’t say anything about receiving funds, only sending them.

I have been told that Neteller will not allow the transfer TO as well as FROM US residents once it comes into compliance. This is on all funds relating to Online Gaming which is the only thing they do (other then peer to peer transfers between non merchant members).

This WILL be an issue in the near future.

Hopefully Click2Pay will iron out any wrinkles before the Neteller changes happen. If they dont then it will be a very frustrating time until alternate solutions are worked out.

PS: I have also seen letters from UK and Cyrus banks advising their clients that they would not be able to issue cheque payments to US residents for anything related to online gaming, this included the payment of affiliate commissions. If the operator did not sign an agreement that they would honor the new policies (which are pending) then the bank would close all of their business accounts.

We have yet to see any real impact on the financial services side of the business, but I suspect the changes will be even larger in scope then the reaction we have seen from the online gaming operators.

If you need your funds by check, you might consider bhholding (my site has the info). They can set you up with an offshore bank account for $95.

I hope that Neteller gives all of us time to withdrawal funds when they decide to shut us out. It will be a major nightmare if they start closing active accounts which have funds in them and terminate all transactions.

They have already given us fair warning, as an industry we need to be looking into existing alternatives or developing new ones; yesterday not next week!
