GuestBilly Joel: we were on the floor and the people next to us got tipped-off they would allow you to the front of the stage after the next song so we followed the people when they got up and we were actually in front of the people in the front row.
That was fun. Pink Floyd and Boston were both cool and I’ve seen a bunch.

InactiveI’d love to have seen Pink Floyd. And Kylie, but not in concert

For me, the best one was either The Ramones in Brixton, or as a sheer spectacle, The Pet Shop Boys at Wembley. For nostalgia purposes, then I went to every OMD and Depeche Mode tour in the 80s when they played the small and intimate Hammersmith Odeon and they were always sweaty affairs
Worst one ever was Prince at Wembley…about as exciting as watching paint dry LOL.January 11, 2009 at 2:06 pm #792317Anonymous
InactiveI’ve been to a few live concerts and got to touch the hand of Alexander Oneil.
I like the Winter Park Jazz Festival so one year I got front row seats to see Dotsero, Arron Nevile and David Sanborn.
I did not know that my mom (who was visiting from Ohio) was afraid of heigths so I made the mistake of taking her to Winter Park at the 9040 ft elevation mark (we got there at night so she did not see the path up) and after the concert on the way home in the daylight she looked out the window and noticed a cloud nearly eye level outside the car and freaked out about being so high up. hehe

InactiveHaven’t seen too many concerts just not worth the drive to the big city for me.
Saw Lamb of God and Megadeth in Vegas and Guns N Roses in Canada both of those were cool.

InactiveMy best live concert so far by far had to be Christina Aguilera’s Back to Basics.. for those who don’t know, i’m her biggest fan :inlove:
I was right at the front, 5th row or so.. at one point she actually came over while singing Beautiful and i stood up to take a photo of her, she started pointing at me while singing and I started crying like a baby… so much so that i didnt even get to take the photo.. i just stood there crying watching her pointing at me LOL
Justin Timberlake put on a great show too, as did Alicia Keys which was the last one i saw live..
I also got to see 112, Nitty, CASE and Ja Rule at one concert.. That was pretty awesome too..
Oh and cant go past Andrea Bocelli – WOW!

InactiveMost of the concerts I’ve been to were years ago. Paul McCartney was excellent as was the Moody Blues. I saw the Beach Boys and America opened for them. America was excellent. I was amazed at how many hits they had.
The worst concert I went to was when I took my 9 year step daugher to see Puff Daddy at the Fleet Center in Boston. The only good thing about it was I worked for Bay Networks/Nortel and got to see it from the company’s luxury box.
