Inactivecroupier wrote:BTW: If you don’t know, it’s a Toyota MR2 Turbo 😎LOL – SNAP! Only mine’s midnight blue. I’ve owned MR2’s since around ’87 in one shape or form. Two Mk 1’s and 2 Mk 2’s. Just fantastic fun to drive, very comfortable and i could count the number of problems (not caused by my own making!) on one hand. Reliable as hell. Ha dthe current one for about 5 years now – friends keep saying “isn’t it about time you changed it”. Hell no – i’d never find an alternative as fun or reliable!
One hint: polish the red ones fairly regularly…they have a tendency to fade as i found out with my Red MK 1 to my cost!
Excellent choice Croupier

Simmo!

InactiveCool, another 2’er

Yep, spoiler & mirrors can fade badly but mine are fine – door handles are slightly faded though

Not sure about the comfort. Mine’s got lowered suspension and 17″ wheels so I feel every bump in the road – it’s kinda fun spotting the bumps in the road ahead and dodging them and then hitting my head on the roof if I get it wrong lol
Maybe I’m just too used to driving the verso, it’s very comfy. You can also do a ton in it without really noticing, you feel the speed a lot more when your arse is a few inches from the ground and you’ve got a turbo wurring in your left ear

Ah but thats what its all about. The mid-engine adds to the experience too. And who cares about the bumps when you have such a comfy driving position – pah

InactiveI drive a Mazda 6.
But it’s not mine, it is a company car. Before I had a VW Golf IV – a damn good car.
Next year, I hope to have at least the same Mazda, but the break model.October 10, 2005 at 10:47 am #674063
vladcizsolMemberI love cars and have a few vehicles. We mostly drive our Honda’s. We have an Oddessy Minivan for when the whole family goes out, my wife drives an Element. When out by myself I tend to drive my Truck, a Toyota Tacoma or my Jeep Wrangler. For special occasions we have a Mercedes Convertible. If I had more room I would have a sports car and always owned one in the past, but we ran out of parking space.

InactiveNice one Jeff – what will you do when someone wins it lol
Took the car out with the roof of for the first time today
Blasting down some country lanes with Placebo blasting on the kenwood 😎 Had another mr2 behind me for a few miles, burned him on the straights with my turbo but he caught up on the bends (not comfortable enough with it yet to go too crazy)Then cruised down the beach with the beachboys greatest hits pumping – God, I’m sad – but I had a big smile on my face all day.
Drove for about 4 hours with just a stop for fuel and Big Mac, got home and as I was walking up the path to my house it took all my will power not to just turn around and jump back in the car.
Mid-life crisis? Sod it, I’m having a riot

Inactivemmm… I have been through probably more cars than I care to mention…
unsure if it is my driving or the other people on the road.
Right now I drive a Grand Jeep Cherokee, and in the process of buying a BMW 328i (should have it in a couple of weeks).

Inactive560SL… not great lighting, and I’m not much of a photographer. Has a hard top and convertible top underneath. Corners well… good torque. Nothing special, but good enough for me.

I also have an older GMC Jimmy 4WD for use when appropriate.
