888.com’s new Revenue Sharing structure is put in place for what seems to be 1 reason only…. To reduce earnings. It is VERY one-sided and puts affiliate earnings at risk – especially if you have been a loyal Casino-On-Net and Pacific Poker promoter.
This term applies ONLY to Casino-On-Net and Pacific Poker, BTW, but allows them to reduce your commissionable percentage to 10% if THEY cannot convert a single player (yes, it is not set up based upon promotion but on conversions only). This means that even if you send 200 people to their website, if you do not get 1 new player – you get 10% commissions on all players you previously brought to their casinos.
Bummer for affiliates – great for 888.com/Cassava
See more at: 888 Terms Changes
Additionally (for some unknown reason), the following term was REMOVED from their T&C’s 😮

July 7, 2008 at 4:33 pm #772179AnonymousInactiveThanks for the info, kwblue.
It sucks, but I’m not really surprised. 888/Cassava has been a disgrace to the industry for many years.
July 7, 2008 at 5:10 pm #772185AnonymousInactiveDidn’t they just hook up with Party again?
July 8, 2008 at 1:02 am #772213AnonymousInactiveThanks for letting us know. Is the 10% commission policy for new affiliates only, or for everyone?
July 8, 2008 at 1:27 am #772215AnonymousInactive10% is ridiculous and insulting.
Is 888 certified here? Someone from 888 should address this.

They could be certified and comply with the certification rules. It is only up to us to remove the clowns from our sites.
