Port security legislation targets banks and not really casinos or pokers.
Of course I am not a lawyer and this is not to be taken as legal advice.
But the DOJ has so far avoided the courts, the only arrests that have gone to court have been small bookies who happened to have websites in addition to taking bets over the phone.
Most likely to go to court is David from BOS – sportsbetting and some history in New York for the company but not David himself… also questionable but they are taking their time building a case. Or just detaining him as scare tactic for others.
I doubt the Neteller folks will go to trial – unless the DOJ really wants to test out the port bill. I don’t think he does though, a loss here can only hurt them.
