If you read his posts at WOL that becomes very clear.
There are a lot of worms out there that cause spoofed addresses also. Those usually have viruses in them.
Jeroen causes a lot of stuff, but I don’t think he generates all these worms.
Although he has that kind of personality, getting his kicks out of being able to annoy someone. Makes him feel powerful. Reminds me of someone else I know.
I had a couple of attachments from Jeroens spoofs but these are bounces from infected machines. The netsky.p worm is all over as it only needs a few infected machines to spread like wildfire. I had about 50 this morning and the attachments are easily identifiable as they range in size from 38kb to 41kb.
He also goes under the name : HAROLD BLAIR
Signed up at a casino as an affiliate (Not mentioning which casino because they do not want a backlash of this) .. sent thousands of spam mails and has actually even converted a few players.. only.. he does not seem to want the money – He didn’t fill in any information except his email and some false name.
Otherwise he put NA in all the fields and as Country: Afghanistan..a quick trace on the emails led to mr. Puttemans..
He is a strange one for sure.

Blasters blocked him as of yesterday.
At the close of every account I get a further attack from Jeroen.
The last one I managed to catch and bounce a hell of a lot back without hitting my inbox with the bonus (for him) of an auto reply detailing his info.
Unfortunately I was unable to catch todays and have about 50k of emails that my isp is even having a hard time deleting.
Well, I have had enough and Luke is going to the darkside with the use of old but useful gems like divine retribution, hellfyre etc.
These are proggies I saw in my early days of the net that scared the hell out of me….well, time to get over the fear and play. 😮
