Well, yes, inetbet, CWC and a couple others don’t have the bonus scheme that kills players. But they still deduct managers bonuses from our pay as far as I know. And I am not sure how many of these don’t even get used…
November 9, 2008 at 3:20 am #786048AnonymousInactiveiNetbet does responsible manager bonuses, I saw them from the player perspecive as well as affiliate perspective an I have no problem with that RTG operation.
November 9, 2008 at 5:33 pm #786090ggsoftwareMemberMainstreet is a fantastic alternative. We offer a flat 40% on net gaming with no sliding scale based on your monthly volumes. I might add that we are always recognized for our prompt affiliate payments as well – consistently rated in top 3 by CAP.
We don’t offer these manager bonuses. We only deduct sign up and weekly bonuses that are given on players deposits (this is the column labelled Gross Win which includes win on real money + bonuses issued).
Talking an example of $100 deposited, played and lost, with our 125% bonus, this column would read $225. We must deduct this $125 as this money was never earned from the player. Thus our Net Win column would read $100 and this is what the affiliates 40% is earned from.
Mainstreet has no intention of leaving the US market. We remain fully committed to you and the US players you recruit.

Jason

Thanks for the info. Any chance you can work on getting rid of the negative carry-over? That would be a huge plus in promoting this brand.

Hear, hear! I was hit by a $10,000 player win in February, so haven’t had much incentive in promoting Mainstreet since, and unfortunately they don’t want to remove it manually :notify:
November 9, 2008 at 6:44 pm #786097AnonymousInactiveI didn’t even know they had negative carry over, good thing I haven’t been hit, I’m going to have to stop promoting them.
November 9, 2008 at 8:00 pm #786109AnonymousInactiveIt might be worth spinning the RTG bonus thing off into another thread if that’s possible, because I’m getting more and more annoyed with CWC over the amount of ‘bonus’ money that leaves my affiliate account.
I don’t have screenshots, but I know for a fact that – on a day to day basis – my commissions are dampened by sudden influx of bonus money that comes out of nowhere.
For example, on day 1, I might have Deposits: $5000 Withdrawls: $1000 Credits: $500
Then on day 2, I end up with Deposits: $5000 Withdrawls: $1000 Credits: $1500
Note that the only thing that changes is the ‘credits’ column. Tired of this stuff. I bring these people hundreds of players and it’s about time I earned some real money.
November 10, 2008 at 2:21 pm #786233AnonymousGuestHear that!
And if nothing else why can’t they allow us to decide if we want to give out that much? I mean it’d be better than nothing because that is what a lot of them are going to get from me.
Its not worth promoting the brand/casino if all your earnings are wiped out by whatever means … they can call it whatever they want to call it and justify it however they want to justify it but in the end if the aff doesn’t make enough to be competitive with the other sponsors then financial logic demands you don’t put these places in top spots and that you don’t seek to have your eggs in a basket that has apparently no bottom to it or at best one big damn hole.
l don’t get it frankly? Surely RTG licensees realize that they are losing a lot of business by having such extreme burdens on their partner’s earnings.
From what Try said I know one place I won’t be considering. There will be a ton more.
November 10, 2008 at 2:28 pm #786235AnonymousGuestI’m with Gam about the neg carry over. That’s a real tough cookie especially on us smaller affs.
As mentioned a 10k winner wipes out a lot of incentive for the near future.
I thought there was an unspoken rule that you could lose the debt if you gave them the player. That wasn’t an option at mainstreet?
Curious because I’d like to promote you.
November 10, 2008 at 2:40 pm #786241AnonymousInactiveI know for a fact c-planet brands (RTG) and BCP(VT) don’t have negative carryover.
November 10, 2008 at 4:32 pm #786290FedodropsMemberHi,
Market-ace doesn’t have a negative carry-over. In fact, we actively take the hit if we get a big player win.
This is just as well, since our largest player win was from Emira B, a Deal or No Deal slots player on Jackpotjoy, who won an incredible £965,000!
So long as you have no negative carry over, you can take solace in your players winning: it’s a fantastic PR/SEO opportunity for you and your operating partner.
What’s more, you are likely to have these big hitters back soon attempting to earn more money from their winnings. For affiliates on a revenue share, this can be an absolute blessing.
Go to http://www.market-ace.com to see what makes us so different, or email me directly if you need any questions answering.

That’s the last time I plug them on here, it’s your loss if you don’t use them!

Hi Gamtrak,
Yes we do have that negative carryover just like most other brands out there. But surely a flat 40% of net gaming is a good bet! I have many, many affiliates with large player pools that in the event that one of their players does win, it doesnt affect their overall earnings month after month. Ups and downs, its part of the game.
Also of note is that we are consistantly rated by CAP as the top 3 fastest payouts to affiliates each month. We generally have all paid by the 1st 2nnd or 3rd of the following month.
Regards,
Jason

Hi Jason,
Thanks for the information. Sorry to drag your brand into the firing range, but I did place a banner above the fold at my forum today to make up for it so I don’t have to run next time I see you in person. hehe
