Yes, but when a program joins they go in knowing we’re going to audit them… And when I play, I never play through my own links, I go through other members links.

You test for shavers and still work with Club Dice? Holy sheep balls! I have always suspected them. 😮

I had noticed this as well – specially the Casino Rewards TOS that states “No affiliate can profit from an account generated by themselves or by a relation of any kind to the affiliate member. “

That T+C is big enough to drive a damn truck through! I mean hell dont we generate in one way or another ALL of the accounts associated with our affiliate tag.

Funny too as Rewards has just left APCW ….

Nothing wrong with the concept – so long as the players knew up front that they are going to be participating in a test. Then the exchange of data requirement would also be known upfront.

This would require involvement by the casinos, but Id think players could be attracted by offering free $$$$ to gamble with (much more than a $10 NDR) then require them to answer your questionnaires e.g. record transaction data that would be beneficial to a variety of entities. Of course the play through requirements would have to be stiffer on these testing accounts to prevent abuse. Either that or you would have to allow no winnings off of the deposit but rather pay them a % of their winnings if any. A plan that would definitely need a lot of ironing …

Sorta taking APCW to the next level of regulating …

    Hi again,

Actually I tell my testers to go ahead and cash-out as long as they’ve gotten a decent amount accumulated (most my testers are decent people and I’ve never had to set any kind of limit, but as a general rule of thumb I consider a gain of $100 or more a fair amount) because you also want to know about how long and how much hassle is involved in getting players paid. Shoot that’s paramount as anything in my book because the player comes first; then me.

and I don’t think you could offer anything as an incentive to the average player for their participation short of the free place to store information simply because otherwise it invites abuse and taints your results.

what I plan on doing is offering this service thru a few sites, and thru others I will still offer some kind of incentive for the player sending me information.

and of course I’ll still fund my testers. Its an expense that I think is money very well spent.

    Yup…

They are an odd bunch of coconuts at times.

I mean, I never recruited them for APCW or made a sales pitch… they approached me. They have good stats and an audit that came out just fine… I suppose they saw the association as a means to recruit webmasters, yet they never even inquired about recruitment or special offers for our members.

Brent just said that he ‘has seen no benefit’ to membership. No hard feelings toward Brent or Casino Rewards, but I have noticed they don’t attend conferences anymore either. And remember, they were the first program to bid against their own webmasters on PPC’s.

I am not surprised they left APCW… I’m surprised they ever joined. ;)

    Tell me about it :rollover:

Ive averaged the same $$ amount +/- a few hundred every month now for nearly 2 years. Depsite bringing in 3-6 joins every month. Usually your profits run parallel to your player base. When the later goes up so does the former … Just hasnt been the case with Rewards.

Ive entered the Twilight Zone of the Coconut Gang and I am spiraling out of control – I want more – give me more!

    Hi,

I was the one that talked Brent into coming to APCW.

And Ark I hate to say it but that’s basically been my experience too with CR despite having a good stretch of consecutive months with them, they leveled off and never again did any climbing so I made a change about 6 months back and started moving them into second place spots and I moved Wagershare into first spots.
