Yeah, but they r widely popular Alexa Traffic Rank: 45,517. But I would not be able to stand if I can’t u know visit my own site.

InactiveAlexa can be manipulated as far as I know, although it has improved a lot.
Every visitor who leaves because his senses are bombarded or his browser freezes is a lost customer. You don’t know how many vitiors leave, a site can rank high and make nothing.
Visitors do not equal conversions.

chazMemberYou are right, although they get tons of discussions in the comment section, but take me for example. I used to be a regular, now I barely visit it, because my PC chokes on those flash ads.

chazMemberWhat’s the amount of waiting time on a certain banner to start doing better? I mean certain changes show progress on day1, but some don’t perform well at all.
Say certain banners get 1 click per day, should one be expecting an increase with time, or should he just swap until he finds something that gets 50 clicks a day from day 1.

InactiveWell, I don’t know about sportsbetting, but in casinos banners are more or less decoration anymore, most clicks come from text links.

God I thought it’s just me. It’s exactly what I get, almost 93% of my clicks + sign ups come from text links. So basically whichever looks better should be my choice?

chazMemberWell I have to say a BIG, Thank you guys. I was able to modify a bit my posting time, which basically doubled my traffic, raised my averaged time on site from 2mins to 13mins, and traffic started converting although not as much as an old working site but good enough.
However I had a future question that I asked my main affiliate program, bet365. I plan on moving back to the States and I tried asking them if an American bank account would be a problem for the payments, but they didn’t really answer my question.
All they told me is that they will transfer the money into my gaming account and after that I have withdraw options. Does anyone have any expirience with the program, and know if I could withdraw money to an American Bank Account?
I asked one of my other programs Betfair and they told me I’d have no problems at all at least with their program.

InactiveThe banking situation in the US is fragile and in constant flux. What is true today may not be true tomorrow. So I really can’t tell you anything concrete.
However, players do have to be paid their winnings and that is why some places, mostly some pokers and sportsbooks but some casinos too, prefer to pay you into their gambling site and let you withdraw from there.

chazMemberI see, I guess I would have to wait and see.

myguinMemberHi xecutable,
I’m Gavin, an affiliate manager at bet365.
To answer your question regarding payment to a US bank account if you moved back to the states;
We can of course pay you and we would do this via a bank wire. If you were living in the states permanently we would send a bank wire direct from your affiliate account as we cannot accept players from the US so a player account would not be possible for you in this scenario.
Please email [email protected] when you are ready for a payment and we will sort this out for you.
Hope this helps, let me know if you need anything else.
Thanks
Gavin

chazMemberHi Gavin
Thanks for the reply. If I already have a gaming account, with my European address and everything, can an American bank account be linked to it for example?
Thanks

myguinMemberI will need to look at your affiliate and player account to confirm an answer for this.
Send them over to me directly – [email protected] and I will look into this when I am back in work tomorrow.
Thanks
Gavin

chazMemberIt’s been a while since I wrote. Did a good amount of changes yet I don’t see any noticeable results. Do I have to be generating 4 digit traffic, or should my site be at least few years old, or is it the time period or is it just the site I am getting confused a bit at this point.

InactiveFor me, as a sports betting sorta guy… I have my fav sportsbook, and I can’t see myself ever moving away from them. My balance is there, I know how the system works, I’ve built up good loyalty there.
Saying that, I do go out and research games, and betting specials, margins.
Not sure this would help you.. but maybe a section for people wanting a new sportsbook with pro’s and cons of each sports book, what sports each sportsbook excels at, and for which countries, their bonus offers etc.
For me.. I wanted an Australian bookmaker, with Australian sports.
