“Most americans agree with the sentiment, yet they all sit on their asses and do nothing about it. They are all going to sit there until their very last freedoms are taken away”

I respectfully disagree. Im not sure where your from in the US, but where I am from we have prop votes. I cant tell you how many times I joind groups that rallied either for or against certaain props and where the vote went one way and then the government did the opposite of what we wanted or didnt want. Everytime a group rallies, those who oppose that group try and shut them up, slander them, lie about them, it happens on the right and the left. The trouble with most people is it’s all about freedom of speech untill you say something they dont like.

You really think those groups are the “majority” of people?

Not all of them, but there are some that are some,

In our last election the majority wanted a change for the better, thats what Obama ran on and he won, so I have to say on that one the group (people) that put him in were the majority.

In california a few years ago a small group, not the majority, demanded that a cross with no other image on it be taken down from all county seals, patchs the fire and police depts had, all the county transportation vehicles, seals in court houses, there were tons of seals. The cross was more of a historical note from the Spanash settlers and the missions, not really from a specific denomination of church. It cost the state millions to replace those seals. I dont think the majority of the people in California want a symbolic symbol of the Spanish Missions taken down and at a cost of millions of $$ and yet it happened. So some groups are, and some aint.
