Its not only sportsbooks – its pretty much everyone from my point of view. Support for many of the usa facing casinos has pretty much become non-existant. Now I keep reading about QT not processing withdraws and my BP goes up as I have quite a bit of cabbage in there.

I know I need to do some site updates to reflect all these recent changes, but I dont want to start spinning wheels in all this mud – I think I am going to wait for the outlook to get a bit clearer so that I am not repeating work.

It’s everything, all use processors and that’s where the issue is.

No telling yet how bad the fall-out will be, it was bad after UIGEA passed also, and we survived…

After UIGEA we still had casinos to market to USA players … presently we have very few and the ones we do have proven they aren’t the most honest.

I agree this might take a month to three to settle down / become clearer, but right now its looking a whole lot worse than just after UIGEA.

So, affiliates are being paid slower and emails and phone calls aren’t getting returned as quickly. This is a fact.

Agreed. Paid slower obviously due to the limitated payment solutions and possibility of lost deposits.

The slow responses. I hate to say it, but i get the feeling that’s because they don’t know themselves what is going to happen, and are probably waiting for legal advice, responses from processors, and then management has to make a decision on the position they will take.

This time round, things do look worse then after UIGEA – but we will survive.

BetUS has been sitting on my checks for months now. Even before all this happened they were dragging their feet. And the word is they fired most of their affiliate “A Team”. Don’t know how substantial that claim is. But now they are ignoring me and I have emailed four times this week to people I know are still working there. :plain:

I can safely say what has happened in America will come to Europe too. The European Union is a fascist dicatorship, just the same as what America is becoming.. The criminal elites are stealing every section of the economy for themselves.. Its a criminal take over of the whole planet. Country by country through debt & intimidation..

Iceland, Greece, Portugal, Spain, then Europe, UK & USA enslaved to debt in perpetuity to private bankers.

But apparently its not really happening and its just a conspiracy.. :la-de-da:

I fully agree with you. It is simply a money grab. There are no moral implications here or anything like that. Because most, if not all, of these states have some type of sanctioned lottery or gambling mechanism in place. It is shameful and arrogant blind greed on the largest, sanctified scale there can be. Just one step below invading another country for their recourses. :nono:

With all this happening, you may call it black friday or uigea, but when was really sports betting legal in US ? probably the 30ties. Betus, bodog, many others, they dont need uigea to get indicted. Collecting bets over any means like phone or internet is in violation of the wire act, which exists for decades. It was simply time for some of them to go out. New will come. I personally know a couple opportunists (or crazy people – depends on the point of view) that will be going after the US market this summer with sports and casino products. For some the game is over, for others this is the best thing that could have ever happened…

    My advise is this:

Do not get out. At least if you can.

    I smell a rat.

No way you look at it. Online gambling will come back. More than likely with the crooks who caused this whole fiasco as main sites legally available to the whole almighty ****ing USA and their humble servants the rest of the planet.

So, you might have to start over then.

I say, and I do so my self, keep your property out there. Inform your readership.

And, once all settles and, you know what happens, at least your sites are still there.

    Just my two cents.

    I applied at bookmaker.com

    this was the response:

At this point and time, with all that is
going on within the industry, we are in a holding pattern on accepting new
    affiliates.

We have no exact time frame as to when we plan to bring new affiliates on board
but I’ll tell you this. Reapply, and I’ll put you in my pending group and once
I get we get the green light, i’ll revisit your request.

After that I had a look at their site and … oh well.. look for yourselves….

Collecting bets over any means like phone or internet is in violation of the wire act, which exists for decades.

No its not. They couldnt get the votes to update the act to include the Internet.

Whoever being engaged in the business of betting or wagering knowingly uses a wire communication facility for the transmission in interstate or foreign commerce of bets or wagers or information assisting in the placing of bets or wagers on any sporting event or contest, or for the transmission of a wire communication which entitles the recipient to receive money or credit as a result of bets or wagers, or for information assisting in the placing of bets or wagers, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.

The argument is the internet isn’t a Wired Communication (its digital). As well, when passed in 1961 the Internet didnt exist. So there is no way it could have been included into the Act. All the UGEIA did was make the Banks and Processors accountable for the transmission of funds.

Yet there are still gambling sites out there willing to ignore those restrictions. Are they heros or idiots?

Most americans agree with the sentiment, yet they all sit on their asses and do nothing about it. They are all going to sit there until their very last freedoms are taken away – of course at that time it will be too late to do anything at all – hell, what am I saying – its already too late; the snowball is rolling down hill and has been for several years.

No doubt the state of this industry is in decline, dmoz manipulation, SE fraud, sites claiming to be watchdogs and/or associations merely looking for a big payday for themselves, programs closing shop, programs cheating / stealing, processors closing shop. Programs which at one time were considered trusted are now shafting affiliates and showing their true colors. No doubt if they are shafting now, they likely have been to some extent since day one!

Its all starting to look like the industry that some government officials have painted it for years – crooked as hell! Seriously who can you trust these days but yourself – and for some who run around shilling for unethical programs – lying to themselves – they cant even trust there!
