Considering their RTG background, this is scary stuff.

same here but all banners i have for them dont load and if i put the javascript the page does not load so i deleted the javascript code from the linking code

Since Friday evening Rushmore has been under a DDoS attack!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DDoS#Distributed_attackThis one of the most vicious attacks I’ve ever heard of, with millions of connections coming from hundreds of countries, hundreds of Mbits per second, from over 500,000 computers. The only people that could pull this off is spammers, which leads us to believe that the individuals responsible this are spammers.
As some of you may know, Rushmore is serious about anti-Spam, and have taken strong measures against spamming affiliates.
We have 2 teams of well trained sysadmins that have been working round the clock over the weekend to protect us as much as possible from these malicious evil-doers, and get us back up, and so far we have made some significant strides, so although some of you may see us as down, almost all of your traffic is getting through, able to deposit and able to play.
Currently, almost all legitimate affiliate traffic is coming through, and in a couple hours we will have fixed our most vulnerable lapses in our defenses.
In any event, we’re standing tall, we’ve lived through worse and we’ll live through this. As always, we’ll emerge stronger than ever.

Good news. I’m very pleased to report that we’re up and running smoothly once again.
We’re back now for several hours, but still under heavy attack and fiercely fighting our attacker’s relentless barrage. They’re not letting up and I doubt they will any time soon.
We’ve got some great new defenses coming up soon, which should protect us completely.
Until those defenses are up, we may go down sporadically over the next few days, but don’t worry, we’ll always come back up soon.Thanks for your concern and continual support. As always, please do contact myself or Ben if there is anything you need.

GabrielGabriel if you cant identify the attacker and pursue legal action against them then PLEASE retailiate electronically. The only way to deal with an asshole like this is to hit them back harder then they hit you. In the end they are cowards and are used to taking advantage of people who only work on a defense, when THEY start having THEIR network taken down and THEIR revenues are effected then this shit will stop.
