vladcizsolMemberWufu I had no intention of singling you out. Matt had been posting about Referspot not paying yet for several weeks now and had indicated he was not getting responses to his email requests for assistance. And as you correctly pointed out he then posted his sign up link after all this. I merely added your issue also with not being paid for two months.
I was not trying to pick on Matt either, what I was more concerned with is Referspot not addressing affiliates concerns in a timely mannner or bothering to answer to comments or questions posted to them.
Misunderstandings DO happen, but they can be quickly cleared up and not allowed to fester or grow by communicating.
Once again, I have been shot down for putting my 2 cents worth here. I can’t figure it out.
Let me see if I can help you figure this one out. 😡
I did not ‘”shoot you down” in past so I could not have ‘done it again”.
In fact, you posted in a different thread here and was quite aggressive with a certified partner over the weekend while I was out of town. I did not see your original comments as you edited them after speaking with the affiliate manager. So I did not have the chance to “shoot you down”.
Wufu you are more then welcome to participate in the forums here, you are also more then welcome to post problems you have with a program in a detailed and professional manner. If, however, you post in an agressive manner then you can expect aggressive and potentially belligerent responses. That’s the way of the world.
Let’s move ahead on a positive note and please let me know if you need further clarification on OUR misunderstanding.

InactiveI understand what you are saying professor and agree completly I was frustrated more then anything. In one year of working with Referspot I never had any problems and the situation I ran into was both my fault and the casino and nothing that would probably happen to any other affiliate…..but definately you have seen the outcome and I wanted to clear up the situation

Thanks!

Wufu, I have followed all your posts here with interest. I always like to see bright new people coming here. I don’t see anyone shooting you down, nor do I think anyone will. You are well liked here.
Re. Referspot:
They really should have responded to Matt in a more timely manner, and if they do read CAP then they should have the uprightness to respond here. We are not in the habit of trashing programs. We like to talk to them, all of them. The point is for everyone to operate smoothly and for misunderstandings to be cleared up and problems to be solved. That is the whole point here.

InactiveThey have finally provided stats for players which indicate (in their opinion) that the data is correct. I haven’t even bothered to look at it because it will serve no useful purpose.
They have, however, been put on notice that data is to be updated in a timely manner – like every couple of hours – instead of what appears to be weekly updates. And I took the opportunity to remind them that negative carryovers were the main reason why people wouldn’t promote them.
Let’s see if anything changes – but for now, Referspot stays off my sites and if I were you I’d have a good think about it as well. I do know them, I do believe they are honest, but if I don’t like what I am seeing I am certainly not going to promote them.

I wasn’t saying YOU shot me down. That was in reference to a reply post I made where I was just offering help and, well I guess it doesn’t matter anymore now does it. In regards to my aggressive post, YES I admit I acted totally unprofessional. I can’t take that back, however I can refrain from doing it again. You can BET
on that. I have never been involved with a group such as this and well, hence my bad reactions. My inexperience in interacting with you other webmasters really seems to show and I hope to remedy that. I think this place is so very helpful and informative, thank you for setting me straight on everything and allowing me to participate still. Very sorry for the trouble.July 7, 2004 at 7:35 pm #651635
vladcizsolMemberNo problem wufu… We still love you!

InactiveMaybe they don’t – I must admit I always look at the overall picture and never bother to look at the month by month stats… it makes zero sense to show those overall numbers on the front page.
Anyhow – if the stats start updating quickly then I won’t have any further problem with them.
July 7, 2004 at 9:08 pm #651648Anonymous
InactiveI agree they should definitley implement a new stats system. When you first login they show the overall summary and there is no real detail when you query current month.

Inactiveanyone noticed stats updates on the last few days?
My stats are not moving since the beginning of the week, which is impossible with 197 active players…
July 30, 2004 at 8:53 am #652813Anonymous
InactiveYou do have the option by going under your account options page to select exactly what statistics you want displayed on the main page upon logging in. The choices include the ability to see detailed statistics for each “LINK ZONE” that you create broken down by either traffic or revenue…..The link zones are a series of banners you choose from the banner manager giving you the ability to create banner rotations on your website by using one link in one spot on your page which I like alot. You can also select the weight of each banner in the rotation.
As for them not updating….I can say that it has been like that since I signed up about a year ago but I can assure you from what I see that it’s always been very accurate and as I stated before aside from my issue up above (which was my fault pretty much) they have remained my top performer in revenue each month and the past 2 months its been very nice since they have done a 40 % revenue for all affiliate for new and old players!
If you can’t get ahold of them via [email protected], send me an emial [email protected] and I can give you direct emails of the people that always help me because I realized after my incident above that the que for support is jacked up and delays delivering emails.
