I spoke to Connie Burstin yesterday and she is now working with Prism casino. I took a look at the site and the Casino looks very nice as do the creatives they have to promote it. http://www.prismcasino.com

Can anyone provide feedback on Prism casino?

I feel like I have heard about them in the past (Deja Vu) and for some reason I thought they had a negative reputation. I did a search at Winner Online and couldnt find anything prior to last October or November where there were one or two grumblings.

I then went over to Casino Meister and looked to see if Prism was listed in the Rogue section and it wasn’t. Oddly enough it seems as if Bryan has even reversed his previously hostile position on RTG!

At GPWA the gripes were that Prism placed webmasters on the player Spam list, but that’s it.

I am confused. I like the Connie and the casino looks good, but I don’t want to recommend them to my players if Prism has any skeletons hidden in the closet.

    Anyone know anything about them?

    Anyone?

Am I the only one with these “memories” of previous issues?

There’s not much that can be done with Prism. Sorry, but I won’t invest my time with complaints about them. They are non-responsive and just plain crooked. I wish people would be a bit more investigative when playing at online casinos. Just type in “virtual casino group” or “prism casino” at google.com and a lot of good information comes up (once you get past the banner farmer ads). I haven’t ranked high with Prism being listed at google because I haven’t dedicated a whole page to them; they are merely lumped in with all the other “Virtual Casinos”. But many of the others “Cirrus casino” for example, are listed near the top.

You must use discretion when you throw your money around.

I’ve received your “pitch a bitch” and I will forward it to my contacts at RTG. Perhaps they will be able to help you out.

I spoke with Connie as well and joined their program, I did not know that it was part of the Virtual Group, as one of my friend just joined them to help clean up their image and they have a completely different affiliate program from Prism’s.

Anyway, I sent some traffic there, advertising deposit bonuses + a $25 free chip they are giving away, got almost 200 player signups .. 4 depositors so far ( in 2 days ), but that number should increase, the commission is of course negative right now because of all the bonus money given away but I should hope they get on to converting those players, if they do, i’ll send a lot more traffic that way ;)

Ouch, that’s not really encouraging, well I’ve sent enough traffic as a test, if they can make me enough money off those I’ll think about promoting it again, otherwise not.

    Thanks Guys
I knew there was some info out there on Prism. I went back to Casino Meister and did find them listed as a Rogue under the Virtual City Group of casinos. Since complaints appear to have been filed as recently as July I do not have a warm and fuzzy feeling about this casino.

I think I will wait a month or two to see how they pan out before sending any players to them.

    Simon will be joining Connie.

That should make a very nice team.

Management of the casino is also completely new.

Perhaps they can turn it around – I hope so, I like both Connie and Simon.

I find it very funny how Virtual Casino Group is trying to white wash its very soiled image by bringing in affiliate managers who had previously worked at honest casinos.

Recently Joe Black moved to Virtual Casino Group also after having built up relationships with affiliates at Wager Wages. The marriage didn’t last long though as I have been informed he just left the program after less then a month.

Unless you fell off a turnip truck you have to realize that when formerly good people go to work for a bad casino nothing changes at the casino. Your friends now work for Crooks not the other way around and this will NOT change the casinos policy of not paying players, unresponsive customer support, lax security or general shadyness.

I realize everyone has to work and I dont fault them for accepting a paying gig even if its with a company that is less then reputable, but I wont sacrifice my reputation with my players or peers to help push this farce.

There are too many honest and decent casinos to work with, why reward the stinkers who think they can fool us by bringing on these names from the past?

Far be it from me to defend Prism et al.

But if they are under new management and have all new people maybe something will change.

I didn’t know that Joe Bee already quit. I wonder why?

But if they are under new management

Affiliate managers dont manage the casino they recruit and support affiliates. The owners are what dictate casino policy and behavior and those have not changed.

I am saying that the casino is under new management.

That is what I understood from Simon.

I know what aff managers do, Prof! :hehe:

    Hi all,

I feel after reading this forum it is the ony right thing to do is explain my standing with Prism Affiliate Program.

Prism Casino approached me a few weeks ago along with several other casino’s, after my departure from VIP Profits (for those interested I left because I successfully finished my contract with the implementation of the affiliate program and was ready to move on and explore a new country and spend time with a valued friend in Costa Rica).

I admit Prism Casino has had a bad press in the past and of course I was aware of this before joining and saw this as a challenge/oportunity to change things for the better, and looked forward to re-building the affiliate program to bring in greater rewards for affiliates.

The general manager of Prism Casino is working alongside me. Everyones feedback including the good, the bad and the ugly will be greatly appreciated so we can move on and start to provide a top quality service to bth affiliates and players.

You can trust both Connie and myself that we have the players and affiliates best interest in mind. The remainder of the staff all have the players best interests in mind.

Simon I believe you and Connie do. The problem is the casino has not demonstrated this in the past.

You have to understand that as portal owners we SHOULD feel a certain level of responsibility when choosing casinos to recommend to our visitors. If we feature a casino that we KNOW has had a checkered past and the player has a negative experience then we will be rightfully condemned and lose that players confidence and therefore unable to market to them in the future.

Also they can and will post their displeasure on message boards and possibly ruin our reputation in the process of slamming the bad casino.

It’s a no win situation and one RESPONSIBLE webmasters don’t take lightly. One of the leading complaints we see online is players accusing affiliate webmasters of featuring ANY casino that pays us a commission no matter how poorly the casino behaves. As a professional I really hate to hear that, but its hard to argue with when we see people rush in to promote every casino that comes along even if they have a history of shoddy service. I am trying to avoid that and this is NOT a reflection on you or Connie.

I have worked with you both and I think you both are fine folks. I just don’t think that will help me in the least bit when a player says “Hey wait a minute, this casino is listed as a Rogue on other portals and you KNEW they had past problems. Why did you recommend them to me?” What do I say? “Well, Gee, Yes I knew that but I like the new affiliate managers there so I figured I would ignore all that and send you there to test things out”

I hope you understand the problem here. I think the prudent thing to do and what I recommend is we watch Prism for six months and see if there really is an improvement FIRST. Then we consider sending them our players. I dont think it’s really fair to gamble with other people’s money. I want my players to have the best chance of success so that they continue to come back to my portals when they want to locate a good casino to wager at.

    Hi Professor,

You are correct in stating that players come first and I am with you on that, and the casino’s past will be explained by a senior member of staff at the casino, and I will ask his response to be posted on the forums as there is always two sides to the story.

Your six month watch sounds a good idea, and I am sure you will not be disappointed as at the end of the day I am looking after myself. I choose to partner with Prism due to the opportunities open to me and the drive of the CEO!

Also note I am working on a consultant basis for Prism and not employed directly by them and still believe in them when I could of chosen many others to partner with!

    Changes will be noticed!

    Take care,
