I started with Poker and made very little money. You tend to lose the money players to rakeback affiliates (cpa is best option). Casino is the way to go without a doubt, just 1 good highroller is all you need (not that you would want to rely on just 1)!

whats wrong with promoting whats most profitable and learning from there?

I think that the difference in profit between poker and casino is not large enough to justify that a poker player with little knowledge of casino games starts a casino website or vice versa. But if you know nothing, then yes take a pick.

What product makes more revenue/profit poker or casino?

Anyone ever saw a poker player deposit more than 10k on a single day? :) Casino is so much more fun…

Casino is a good cash generator, but at the same time Poker is also a good performer but you have to bear in mind that the top money players will be interested in rakeback. It all depends on the type of players you get and the type of promotions and bonuses available.

This ia a bit of a loaded question as poker and casino both make decent money. I would say if you do a breakdown by revenue even at well known poker rooms you will find it is the casino that is the cash generator so casinos make money in that view. However if you have a poker portal and a casino portal you will notice your poker portal players earn you the money and not casino portal players.

So for promotional purposes, promote poker with a casino twist.

I agree with that. However lately I noticed that even the well known poker rooms removed their casino games, which should be their cash cows? Anyone know the reason?

Poker is more popular than casinos and the volumes are high, but the per player yield is low compared to casino players. It works both ways and I would suggest sticking to what you do best. But nothing stops you from a little diversification.

Most poker rooms added casino products to the product mix and have been successful in generating more revenues. Published figures are proof of this fact.

Most poker rooms don’t won the softwares and depend on the software providers for the additional casino games. Most of the times these extra plugins are not an ideal fit to the existing software and primarily wallet. Therefore some rooms may have taken off the casino products. Hope this helps.

    Hello

Online poker is the game of poker played through the internet. With the introduction to online poker, more and more people have become interested in the game of poker. A few advantages to playing poker online are that you can find a game any time of the day or night. In addition, you will not have to practice you poker face, since there is no face to face interaction with your opponents. This makes it harder for them to read you and tell what your next move may be. Playing online poker is a great way to gain experience in the game, and also less expensive then traveling to a card room. Another advantage is that you can play more hands per hour of online play then you can in real life.

    Thanks
    Have a nice time ahead.
