InactivePoker is good on CPA bases only IMHO.

ClubContMemberI would ask affiliates who work with both however my opinion is that casino makes more on average. I have heard the player values are higher for casino. If I had to start from scratch I would go with casino because the online casino market is highly competitive and you’ll get more attention from your programs. With larger programs like pokerstars and fulltilt there is less competition so you might not get the same vip treatment as an affiliate. I would only go into poker if I had more of a passion for it and could produce good content and value for those players and market.

InactiveOk Folks My shot,
You are make more from casinos (single player) on average, since the deposit per player is higher than poker rooms. Just think about blackjack, slots and roulette games. Few people sign up to play only pennies. The down side is if the player hits the jackpot and your casino carry negative balances.
On the poker side, the average deposit is way less than casino, but there are some large depositors if you are lucky to get them that will make a huge difference in commissions. You need a large base of players to make money from poker (revenue share) otherwise CPA should work better if you can’t deliver many players. The good thing you don’t get a negative balance, they are very rare (revenue share).
So, promote both, and take a chance. You never know when a whale will hit your site, for poker or casino.
NOTE: THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE PROMOTING CASINOS AND POKER ROOMS. SO, STATS CAN BE DIFFERENT BETWEEN AFFILIATES.
Hope this helps,:hattip:

I totally agree except for the statement about the jackpots. From what i hear and know jackpot wins by one of your players shouldn’t result in a negative for you. The money that feeds the jackpot is already accounted for long before the jackpot is being hit. Am I right?

payZILLAMemberDefinetly poker!!! But it depends in your target audience and your affiliate site. If you have female oriented content it will be better to promote casinos, if you have male audience poker will convert better.
Best thing to do, promote both of them at the same time.

Making it tricky to get high player value. Just hope you get some players that love the casino to make it worth while.Casino a different ballpark, and the progressive jackpots doesn’t affect your commission as it is being deducted from netwin each month, but a inhouse jackpot would deduct it.
If starting up, I would focus on Casino but throw in a few poker rooms as well.

ProductCreatorMemberI would say Casino

But then you can have a really high quality product that will attract a lot of players regardless if its casino or poker

zzaaronzzMemberWhen BetUK had both poker and casino rooms they both performed about the same over time. Some months the casino did really well and other months poker produced better.
It all depends on the type of players the site attracts, the longevity of each player and promotions, rewards, bonuses the program gives out.

InactiveThis ia a bit of a loaded question as poker and casino both make decent money. I would say if you do a breakdown by revenue even at well known poker rooms you will find it is the casino that is the cash generator so casinos make money in that view. However if you have a poker portal and a casino portal you will notice your poker portal players earn you the money and not casino portal players.
So for promotional purposes, promote poker with a casino twist.
