GuestWow. You guys are awesome! I am so proud!
I can’t legally donate, I already tried – but you have to be a citizen of the U.S. to make a political contribution. 😡
Nice thread, Professor.

InactiveI hate getting into a polital debate but getting this guy into office will not change anything. Bush is one of the best presidents we have ever had and I will not be contributing a dime to anyone running against him. How will he make our country more free? Please explain why he is such a good choice?

Dogmatism denies the relativity of knowledge and the connection of knowledge to historically changing practice and social relations. Dogmatism couplies these denials with the practice of treating knowledge as something abstract, not to be touched by additional input or real world experience. Dogmatism is thinking which minimises the validity of doubt, asserting the possibility of certain and unalterable knowledge of the world.

InactiveIt is the Bush regime that originates all the scare tactics re. gambling online.
I have been a republican for a long time, but their stance on this is unacceptable and I have switched.
I agree – a political debate is not appropriate here – but I did want to explain myself.

InactiveHmmm, you know my wife just had a new baby last week and she occasionally she cries, but the whining around here is getting annoying. Bush this conspiracy theory this ect. Also can someone please show me were Kerry has come out with his pro view on online gambling? Actually just prove to me what his views are.
Anyway I am with jackpotcasinogu, I will not give Kerry a dime hell not even a penny.

InactiveKerry’s views are outlined at
There’s a box on the right hand side of the page labeled “Issues”.
I don’t think that Kerry has a publicized stance on online gambling as an issue, but we know very clearly what Bush and his appointees’ position on that issue is because of their actions.
Congrats on the baby. My wife and I have twin daughters who are 18 months old. They were up and hollering at 4am this morning.

GuestI don’t think anyone is saying that Kerry is a great man, or his policies are anything to write home about – who believes what any politician tells you when they’re campaining, anyway.
We just pray that he gets elected so that Bush is outted.
There’s no conspiracy theory. Just the facts. Look them up.
I have personal friends risking their lives in Iraq, and they no longer know why they are there – where’s the smoking gun? It is about oil and nothing more. I don’t want people I care about to die so that Bush’s friends get richer. Sorry if you don’t think that’s something to whine about.
I hardly think any candidate is going to have a platform based on online gambling. There are bigger fish to fry. What is happening to online gambling in American is just an example of your “freedoms” being stripped away.
If you want to ignore what’s been happening, that’s your perogative.
Ignorance is bliss. People are dying.

GuestBush is a born again Christian with a zealot, born again Christian as the top policeman in the country. Supeonas are being handed to online gambling advertisers from the FBI office in southeastern Missouri. The top cop (John Ashcroft) is from Missouri.
Kerry is not a born again zealot. And he’s from Massachusetts. I find it very unlikely that Kerry’s pick as the head of the FBI will be a born again zealot who will track down online gambling in a moral crusade the way Ashcroft is.
That’s all I need to know.
There’s no way to know if Kerry will go after online gambling like Bush is, but it isn’t a given that it will happen like it is now.
If you vote for Bush and he wins, you better find a backup profession.April 23, 2004 at 9:19 pm #648278Anonymous
InactiveOk be for I start let me say this I am not trying to start a war here but I am going to say what’s on my mind.
As far as Kerry’s web site I am not real interested in going there, I can pretty well guess what it says and I don’t think it would change my mind on this issue. I am quite sure there is nothing there on online gambling.
Now as far as there are no conspiracy theories you might want to read the free for all section on this very forum. One example Bush and Kerry belonging to the same secret society.
Now as far as If I want to ignore what’s been happening. I have a strong grasp on what is happening at home and abroad and I have bit my tongue reading a lot of these uniformed post on the war ect. The bottom line is I am not going to put my trust in someone on the hope he will do something different.

InactiveJust a very short time ago I was in total agreement with you, emg.
Now though I must remove my support from this government as they are hellbent on putting me out of business, with strongarm tactics and no law to back them.
That isn’t right – it is blackmail. They can’t wait for a law to pass because they know it will not pass.
I am supporting Kerry only by default. In reality, I don’t support anyone anymore. Our government has gone down a path I cannot support anymore.
