GuestI totally agree!
If a player is bringing in to me (my commission) $2, 3, 5k a month, and all of the sudden it stops. I’ve not a qualm in the world at throwing $200 even more at them to get them back and playing.
I know the casinos use incentives, but I’m talking a no-requirements, play what you want coupla hundred bucks gift to the man/woman that was giving so much to me just a short 30 to 60 days before.
There’s just no reason for us not to be allowed to have a hand in getting these kind of players back unless the program/casino isn’t actually losing that extra $5, 10, 20k a month that they were seeing such a short time ago.
Come on people, get behind us on this!

InactiveSteve-
I’m with you on this also. Nothing would please me more than to have the opportunity to thank someone for signing up with me and to also reward them for signing up with me. It’s a great branding opportunity, and it’s an opportunity for a casino affiliate program to step up and demonstrate how committed they actually are to their partnership with us.

Of course maybe they dont want us making contact because the player didnt stop playing and/or was losing more than your stats say? Thats an evil thought, but Id surmise not too far off base …

InactiveI’ve been having this type of discussion with a few programs for a couple of years now – getting the usual “uh huh” and “We’ll look into it” responses – the truth of the matter is that they don’t want us interfering in the slightest with their marketing, even if it is at no cost to them.
I dare any program to come out and say they WILL do it right here, right now. And I bet that we will get at MOST one or two takers who will quickly back out when they discover what “appears” to be some difficulties with implementing such a program.
As much as I support this idea – I am confident that no program will be able to deliver.

Guestya but think of the program that does, it will get people flocking to it. at least if its a marketable software.
I’ve no qualms at all to reducing the casinos I promote to a select few.
I believe that people are gonna sign and play where you send them for the most part. I can say that from my experiences in both this and the adult market that that is true.
Don’t get me wrong, you’ll lose the fringe income you see now but it would (IMHO) be more than made up for having a partner willing to do the right (and smart) thing.
…. er, that is – unless they’re screwing us and are afraid getting caught. That’s the only downside to this.

well thats gonna happen to a few of them anyway before long. when I get my “store your gambling info here” area up and running, which if I can ever manage to catch up with Matt is going to happen soon. It won’t get a ton of interest, but then again, I have a good relationship with my surfers, …
