InactiveI’ve been moving and had no internet for most of the last 3 days…
All I can say is I AM IMPRESSED…
Not with Charlie, but with people.
In this modern world of terrorism, holy wars, and “me first” attitudes, it’s sometimes easy to become cynical…
But then something like this happens, and you realize: Even though you don’t see them, there are a ton more good, decent people in the world than there are of the bad ones who cause 99% of our troubles.
Glad everyone’s alright…

InactivePS. If anyone could provide me with the details of the Disaster Fund / contact / banking information for donations it will be much appreciated.
Marlo Thanks
IMHO the Best place to donate is the American Red Cross
http://www.redcross.org/
You can probably narrow your donation to the Florida chapter
or this relief fund they were very fast on the sceneAdded
https://www.redcross.org/donate/donation-form.aspJust checked they dont have Neteller as a form of payment

InactiveThanks Marlo! The people of Florida will greatly appreciate it.
This is very kind of you. There are so many people with nothing now, no home, no money, no food, no place to go, no jobs.
This is a very weird position to be in.Thank GOD for good people!
I faired very well, home in tac, I have electric, food, water, job.
Most people in the brunt of the storm have nothing!August 18, 2004 at 1:57 am #653552Anonymous
GuestHi again,
Dennis, are you going to be doing most the cutting yourself?
and ifso; are you experienced with such things?
from looking at your pictures I could suggest a few strategies that might prevent further problems if you are unsure of what to do about which way to start in cutting your trees etc.
It does make a big difference.
wish you luck with your troubles.

Guestit would be nice if red cross set things up so that you could send a note to someone thru email if you’re donating in honor of someone, but they don’t have it set that way.
so you’ll just have to take my word for it that I send some money to you guys.
on top of that, I’m not sure if I didn’t pay twice because after seeing I couldn’t send anything electronically I tried to back up and that’s when I realized I’d just hit the “submit payment” to get to that page I was backing up from, and then like a dummy I hit “go forward” and then thinking quickly closed the browser (ya like the guy that opens the bear’s cage and then “thinking quickly” climbs the nearest tree)

oh well, I can’t think of a better place to have made the mistake.

InactiveThanks bb1webs,
I have a lot of experience at cutting wood. It’s just going to be a lot of work. I will work on it a little each day and someday I will be done.
Thank you for your concerns, much appreciated!
Also thanks for sending double amount of money to Florida we need it badly. GOD will bless you 10 fold.

Guestthere might be some truth in that. My Grandmother died a while back and she always sent Billy Graham money faithfully so when I started doing a little better I went there and gave a little bit and the next month was better.
so I gave a little more the next month. and had a better month.
lol. however after this month it looks like Billy will have to wait for his cut towards the end of Sept.

InactiveSo glad you guy are ok.
And Ellen-Dean Thanks again for the cool T-shirts
It’s times like this that “BUGGER” is pretty appropriate. (We sent Dennis and Brad long overdue t-shirts with BUGGER on them…an Aussie thing…one word that sums up all the shit life can throw at you…ya just say…BUGGER…and immediately feel a bit better ’bout life in general).
Times like this you realise the strength of human spirit and the willingness to lend a hand from mere strangers is what makes us sorta special in the whole scheme of things.
