vladcizsolMemberThe Hurricane totally bypassed Torrey’s area so hes fine I would imagine (unless he consumed too much hooch at a Hurricane party)

Guestyep, And I have chain saw and I’ve never hit a house yet while bringing down a tree and I’ve done it in some tight spots. Though is sounds like the bringing down part is mostly over. Besides, you guys are too far to travel.
But I’m good to hit up for a loan if anybody needs some cash, just send me your NETeller email address and I’ll send what I can and be happy to do it.
Though from reading posts it sounds like Craps is in better shape with his losses than I am up here without any

Great to hear everyone is okay, and Brad, if you need a financial hand, I’ll be happy to step up. Craps, you’re on your own.
.. jus kiddin’. holler if I can be of any help.August 17, 2004 at 12:25 am #653495Anonymous
InactiveGlad you are all okay. My family in Ft Lauderdale said they got some bad winds and the power was off by the beach. It’s really scary being on the other side of the world while I know a hurricane is passing through.
Getting a new roof put on my house in Tamarac, they started it today, had waited for the hurricane to pass first.
I’m thinking of all that suffered losses and damages.August 17, 2004 at 12:46 am #653498Anonymous
InactiveHey bb1 Arkyt thanks
BB1 thanks for the Neteller offer
Have plenty of money that helped through this ordeal a lot in the beginning but the bottom line was if you need ICE for your cooler or gas for your generator and no one has it money doesn’t help
You just have to find out when the next shipment comes and be first in line……..Like Dennis said I called up Lowes for a generator before we were hit with the storm, they just got 40 in stock a 10 minute drive later I found myself in a line of 20 plus people and 2 lowes employees loading them up on peoples carts I was lucky enough to get the next to the last one
Every thing will return to complete normal in a few days
Thanks so much guys for your offer You guys are true friends and I would do the same for you anytime!!!!
Brad
And Ellen-Dean Thanks again for the cool T-shirts

Obviously the storm didn’t get your sense of humor?! LOL
From the stories on this page, it doesn’t look like you can do much else ;/
Ok nature, we get it, you are the boss!!
Ya’all are cleaning up from winds and rain over there & we’re just warming up the bush fire season over here.It looks like all of you treated the Internet as first non-emergency priority?! LOL

InactiveHey Dennis,
That is one hell of a mess to clean up. It is a good thing that you did not have any of the big trees fall into your home. If there is anything that you need just let me know.August 17, 2004 at 12:08 pm #653514Anonymous

InactiveHi Everyone,
I am embarrassed to admit I only learned about Hurricane Charley and it’s devastating effects after reading about it here on CAP.
I have to say though, that it’s really moving to see the strong sense of community in here, and the genuine concern for fellow affiliates.
In a disaster of this scale, it does not seem like much, but we here at golden[star]network would like to pledge a $1000 towards the disaster fund.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who have been affected.
Kind regards,
MarloPS. If anyone could provide me with the details of the Disaster Fund / contact / banking information for donations it will be much appreciated.
