GuestHi again all,
and thank you for your concern and posts.
ya, it is bad but I’m thinking since all 4 didn’t show up that perhaps they didn’t have cookies turned on but my last correspondence with the player was
No problem, I’ll shoot you all the info after I get back from work…
David
I had wrote him asking about cookies being on and as you can see he didn’t mention it in this last reply so now I don’t know what to think. However I have written him back again making it a point that this angle needs to be addressed 100% so I’m not sitting here throwing stones from a glass house.
.. (Prof) lol. Gotta love the picture.
thanks again for the support folks!

GuestHi again all,
well I’ve received further info from the player and he says he’s had cookies turned on.
the only reason I’m not disclosing the casinos in question is the fact that all of them didn’t track which leads me to think that its a problem on the end of the player and not the casinos.
That said: i will be testing the casinos in question heavily sometime this or next month and if a signup doesn’t show up: I’m coming here looking to barbeque the joints.
times being what they are: there is simply no just reason for this to happen.
I apologize for not making public the places in question but I just don’t think its fair to them when tracking didn’t work for any.
that said; as more info rolls in I promise to make public any situations which might effect any of my peers and friends here at CAP.
I think this is the fairest and best way to handle this situation to all involved.
thank you again for your support.

GuestHi again all,
not surprisingly, the one place this player did show up in stats was at CR/RA.
Cheers to them

InactiveWell, if Rewards tracked, then it wasn’t all of them that didn’t track.
Can you disclose the softwares?
January 10, 2007 at 3:10 pm #721858Anonymous
InactiveIf rewards tracked, then all others should’ve tracked since he was probably using the same computer for playing.
Does CR/RA have a different tracking system to the other properties where the players are not showing? If not, then clearly there is a problem on the affiliate program’s end…
January 10, 2007 at 3:23 pm #721861Anonymous
InactiveI think CR has custom tracking, not sure…
January 10, 2007 at 5:29 pm #721883Anonymous
GuestHi again.
well you’re right about CR. the player has since added yet another casino to the mix which DID track, making my worries about cookies disappear so I’ll now announce the whole thing along with the explanation I got from one of the aff managers … the other I haven’t heard back from yet. (the 3rd being CR, who did track and I’d missed it because I didn’t check stats correctly or else I was never able to access them and forgot. sometimes I have a terrible time using their stats, they seem to take forever to load resulting in timed out message: that may have happened and in my rather upset mood I just chalked it up to missing. I admit I was pissed – and still am) Ryan pointed out to me the player had tracked.
So its actually just 2 sponsors and 3 missing casinos.
now with that said: of the remaining two sponsors: one has had a 50% success rate of sign ups showing up in my stats.
that would be Casino Profit Share. Here is what Trish has written me back to say
I’ve checked into this for you and here’s what I’ve found:
Golden Reef Account xxxxxxxx:
This account is tagged to your affiliate ID under the banner tag number BanAff871 (belongs to website ksod.com). No tracking or tagging issues. The account has been registered for 11 days.
I have checked the player transactions via the Casino backend to ensure they matched our stats on CPS. The player has not deposited into this account in January 2007. To double-check, I ran the same report and increased the date range (even though the account was only registered 11 days ago) and there still shows no deposits.
Even though there have been no deposits on this player account, I searched the bet history, just incase there was some play of any kind (not possible on Golden Reef as there is no free bonus however I checked anyway in the issue of being thorough). No bet history recorded.
This player does not show up in your stats as a depositing player due to the fact that the player has not yet made their first deposit. The recording of their hit into the casino site is included in your total hits for Golden Reef in the traffic report on your CPS login.
Music Hall Account xxxxxxxxx:
This account number is not valid on the casino server. It is one digit short (only 7 digits, it should be
.My findings in this matter:
The Golden Reef account has definitely been tracked from click through to registration, it is definitely tagged to your affiliate account via the banner tag I listed above. I believe that this player may have listed Golden Reef as a “deposited and played at” casino in error as it is 100% confirmed this player has not deposited or played at Golden Reef in the 11 days since registration.
The Music Hall account, is not a valid account number, however I have located the account by searching on the player detail.
This player account was not attached to your affiliate ID, however I have attached him now. I am unsure as to why the player was not tagged.
The player first purchased in December, your CPS stats should reflect this for you. The player lost a little in December resulting in your stats for December now reflecting an earning of $18.36 attributed to this player. This amount will carry forward for you until such time as your minimum payment requirement for your selected payment method is reached. The player has not played as yet in January and as such is not showing in your CPS reporting.
I trust this information assists with your enquiries.
Cheers
Trish
the remainding missing casinos are jackpot city and riverbelle both with Referback.
It is possible the player could be signed up under another affiliate as I have written shane requesting investigation into why the signups are not showing up in my stats along with telling him to be 100% certain he is correct if he responds they are already signed up under a different aff via the player having been signed at some other of their properties because David (the player in question) signed up at one of the casinos while his wife signed up at the other and its unlikely they’d both be previously signed up at a different casino in that network thru another aff because I’m under the impression his wife is just starting out playing online.
meaning one of the two signups should not negated by the RB policy of once signed up at one casino … they belong to that aff if they sign up at other properties. IF you get my drift.
hope that makes sense, I just woke up and haven’t had my coffee yet

GuestHi again all,
doing some research on the RB situation and I’ve discovered an interesting fact that may be just my problem but could be yours too;
I’ve noticed that some links such as
http://www.jackpotcity.com/rfb_sa94__s||aff27237__b=sa94
don’t transfer over well to when published.
Now I can’t say this is why or why not the signups didn’t work, but I’m sure as hell going thru my sites and changing the links back to a link i think is more likely to work. that being http://www.jackpotcity.com/index.asp?s=aff27237
not sure where I got ahold of the first link but although it doesn’t show up in my html (via frontpage) .. when it publishes it shows up like this
http://www.jackpotcity.com/rfb_sa94__s%7C%7Caff27237__b=sa94
I don’t think its a frontpage caused problem however because when I “view the source” via my web browser it shows looking like this
http://www.jackpotcity.com/rfb_sa94__s||aff27237__b=sa94
meaning the %7C stuff that shows up on the published page doesn’t show up in the source
needing smarter minds than mine to help figure this out.
January 10, 2007 at 6:21 pm #721896Anonymous
Guestnot sure what’s going on as what i posted above didn’t transfer correctly. perhaps the problem. this will take more time to sift thru. please bare with me as I am not able to transfer over correctly what I’m seeing.
to better get an idea, please click to visit
http://www.gamblingwhales.com/approved_casinos.htm
then mouse over gaming club
then view it against the source
you’ll see some percentage “%” stuff in there that isn’t in the source links.
honestly don’t know where i came up with these link codes. I suppose it could be just my mistake.

InactiveThanks for the information bb1webs, very interesting stuff. Something is going on, no doubt. I will be checking over my links and software as well. Please keep us posted.

GuestHi G,
may take better minds than mine to figure this out. what is curious is where these link codes came from. some of my link codes I have for RB sites seem to be as expected, where as others seem to be something I don’t recognize.
using frontpage I am not unaccustomed to seeing codes get screwed up but this is way out there.
I apologize for this thread being such a mess. I don’t mean to confuse anyone but at the same time if I don’t bring it to the attention of you all … it might be a situation where I could have helped and didn’t out of fear of looking stupid.
*the very point I tried to make to the guys arguing in the thread about blackjack with Nick777 and “friends”.
in any case, please forgive if I’ve got anyone else as confused as I am. I will do my best to sort this out but it may take all day.
January 10, 2007 at 6:38 pm #721909Anonymous
GuestHi again,
okay, i’ve located where the link codes are coming from: they are not my fault, they are given at RB
please view
note you don’t see any of the % stuff in the above, yet when you mouse over the banner shown (this I noticed at RB’s site) … the % stuff then shows. Not sure if this makes a difference in tracking but its sure as hell curious.
this is something for smarter people than me to figure out but I’m not taking any chances and am going thru my sites and getting rid of these kind of links.
