GuestSo far VA has earned my respect and I’d sure hate to find out now they are anything less than the opinion they’ve built.
Cross-marketing to our players without giving us credit is no better than if I came and stood outside your door and gave personal attention to each and every potential customer and promised them a better deal if they’d go to my store down the street.
It is unethical and would be the cause for me to look elsewhere for a partner.
So I hope all this is cleared up to prove that is NOT the case with VA.

InactiveHi All,
I was also informed that http://www.oldsamuraicasino.com, http://www.floriditaclubcasino.com, and http://www.grandcasinovenice.com are older casinos which were around prior to Vegas Affiliates being created. – so I don’t feel as left out as I previously did.
I’m not a member at any of these casinos but Id assume they must be cross marketed which might leave me feeling cheated a bit if my players are being bought off so-to-speak by sister casinos where I can not earn a percentage.
While the opposite applies, smaller Vegas VIP lounge properties are NOT crossmarketed to the larger casinos from the group, represented by VA; nor is the new Vegas Poker Casino…
Those of you who have an account with one or more of the casinos represented by VA might have been able to check this already. If you don’t have an account, feel free to register and verify it for yourself (and try out our great casinos in the process
).Spearmaster, I can confirm it was never a marketing decision not to promote Vegas 7 through affiliates in the early stages, hoping this will lift your suspicions.
Best regards,

InactiveI saw Vegas Poker Casino advertised on a few sites … is it now available for promotion or are those exclusive deals? Considering the name, I was also expecting a poker room not a casino
figure most users might be as well.January 17, 2005 at 5:06 am #660296Anonymous
InactiveEither those sites are just listing the new casino as a “courtesy” or they have an exclusive deal with VA because the creatives are certainly not available at VA. It’s rather annoying to find a new micro and you can’t freakin promote them. :laughcry:

InactiveHi guys,
The Vegas VIP lounge group is currently using standard media-buying means to advertise its new property.
Vegas Poker Casino is therefore advertised on various sites, but this is not going through Vegas Affiliates, who has not included Vegas Poker to its list of merchants. Vegas poker is not available for affiliate marketing, . A quick look at the links from the sites advertising Vegas Poker will show you that these are not using the well recognizable VA banner tags.
Wufu110 you are most probably right, other sites do certainly provide courtesy links to this new casino as well.

InactiveHey Bonustreak,
Sorry you got me a bit confused here…Are you referring to a Vegas 7 or a Vegas Poker banner?
As mentioned earlier on, Vegas Poker is not available for aff marketing, but Vegas 7 is.As a reminder, VA bannertags look like this: “btag=aff_***_c***_b***“
Please PM me the site, I will have a look…
Thanks in advance

InactiveWell, I don’t understand.
Is it perhaps buying adspace at sites of it’s choice while not maintaining an affiliate base?

InactiveHi Dom,
As mentioned in a previous post, the Vegas VIP lounge group is currently using standard media-buying means to market Vegas Poker Casino, whose advertising does not involve Vegas Affiliates in any way.
As explained to Bonustreak by PM, a Publibanner bannertag looks like this:
?btag=****_****_****_****
whereas a Vegas Affiliates bannertag looks like that:
?btag=aff***_c****_b****
(where “*” is a number)All Vegas Poker Casino banners and links you might find on various websites and portals do carry the first tag only.
The media buying agency in charge of Vegas Poker advertising is “Publibanner Ltd.“. You can reach these guys at this address: [email protected]
Have a nice weekend

InactiveI’ll vouch for that, and for Publibanner. The btags do look awfully similar, but before they had an aff program I had the same type of btags as in the first instance.

InactiveI have no problem believing Pierrick that it’s publibanner.
