InactiveWhy would you ask that?
That’s definitely one of those ‘shake you up’ questions. Did you see this or hear it from an official type source?
I haven’t heard this.

GuestHi all,
my source at a prominent sponsor program says at current status; MGS brass are denying this is going to happen.
can’t say more than that but I encourage that everyone stop feeding the rumor mill until proof is known.

InactiveI hear nothing of the sort. I had spoken with several programs over the last couple of days all of them deny this claim. It would be a nasty little rumour if not true.

InactiveI’ve heard this rumor too. I’m thinking they’ll definitely have to set up some payment processing arrangement since Payspark has pulled out.
It’s the best thing they can do to assure a steady, reliable inflow of deposits. Not to mention that players want the same reliability in collecting winnings as well. I’d like something reliable for collecting payments.
Best solution all around imv.

wasn’t by chance from a competing powered software casino?
ifso: one should consider the source.

What a shame..

InactiveMicrogaming is emphatically denying this.
Let’s not start rumors. At this point they are NOT pulling out.
I am not precluding that they may make such a decision at any time, but there is definitely no such decision at this time.

InactiveJ Todd mentioned this in his newest video segment the other day.

Hi Am, loved your letter to the gov you recently posted.

hi all,
in respect to the above quote: 2 questions.
does Intertops still accept US players?
Dom made the post they have their own processor. To that extent: how is their deposit / withdrawal methods different or rather .. more user-friendly to US players?
thanks in advance for your replies.

InactiveThe answer depends on who you ask.
Many different casino programs gave many different answers, which ranged from “Yes Micro is out of the US” , to “No way in hell are we leaving” , to “I know as much as you do” , to “Old programs can stay in the market but new ones cannot enter it”
Nothing like consistancy, eh?

This is what they told me over a year ago when I inquired as to start a casino. So this policy has been in effect for a while.

I guess it’s the ol’ wait and see game at this point. I sure as hell hope they don’t fold like so many others.

InactiveI hate feeding rumors.. But..
I saw the question in this thread was unanswered for a while.
I didn’t really took it seriously until talking with representatives of at least two different Microgaming programs today and earlier this week.
No one told me anything about it but unlike previous conversations.. I kept reading between the lines that I better focus on targeting Non US traffic from now on.
Both of the programs currently accept US players.. Suddenly I’m suggested to focus on non US players..
Perhaps the lack of depositing methods doesn’t justify the risk for them? Who knows.
The bottom line.. If I’ll hear Microgaming is out of the US as well in the near future.. The last thing I’ll be is surprised!!

When it comes to Micro, I take Jetset’s input to be authorititive.
