Yeah. I tend to work about 60-70 hours a week anyway, and have been lovlingly given a Blackberry so that no matter where i am in the world i can see all the posts, all the time.

FYI – Its actually illegal to gamble in Israel, and as such they have no concept of what a betting shop is. When the management go out to Israel they are actually having to take photos of betting shops as most of them have no idea! Consequently WH has no brand presence in Israel, so it would make no sense to move it out there would it.
As I stated on one of the many posts, what was Webroute will be marketing William Hill, Blackpool Club and the Cpays brands into the UK. What was Cpays I believe will be doing the same job into parts of Europe, however as WH doesnt have a very big presence in Europe, then emphasis will be on WHO in the UK to be doing the majority of the William Hill Account Management.
Additionally, if Affiliates who arent UK based dont feel comfortable working with the ex Cpays company in this way, from what i understand there will be enough flexibility to allow you to work with us her in the UK on the brands.
Obviously, at this early stage there are there going to be things that i still dont know, but as i have said all along, when I know, you will!

I doubt you did. Sounds like the person at WH has only grasped half the stick. Hopefully my post gives from what I understand to be the whole picture.
Neil, they sounded pretty certain. Without identifying the person, it’s worth pointing out that they should know.
I can’t claim to know 100% the facts on this but it’s enough to warrant it’s mention. You know I don’t have a problem with you (have spoken to you but haven’t worked directly with you for reasons we’ve discussed privately) but I do think WH will be disappearing from my sites shortly.
FWIW, I hope this is a good move for players, affs and WH. I just have a sinking feeling…

That’s precisely what Mansion/Casino.com did when they created Convertonet. They have no ‘presence’ in Israel but handle the marketing from there.

So like i say, I think the UK marketing is staying here, but some of the European Marketing is going out there. FictionNets contact at WH believes its all going to Israel, so I’ll try and find out to put some meat on the bones. However, if its all going to Israel then there’s not a lot of AMing I can do here (and as we will be doing it here from what I have been told….).
Anyway, I dont really want to talk conjecture about who said what, aas I think its important for this thread to be as clear as poss. So let me see if I can get more concrete info.
OK. Here’s an update. I have just spoke to Peter Marcus, who is the COO of William Hill online on MSN.
This is what he says (I’ve lifted it directly from my MSN)
“there WILL be a UK marketing and affilaite team based in the UK as part of the overall buisness”
