Actually the decks of cards were the best thing I brought home… and have been made good use of.
I think the mints are a great idea too… :3eyes:

    I like the cards too!

I organise poker games so they always come in handy.

Are you referring to the mints Mansion gave out? Took me about an hour and a lot of effort to open the feckers!

actually one of the most memorable ones was that small pillow i got from paddy in amsterdam 07. pretty nifty on the go…

tshirts are alright, provided they are quality and don’t look embarassing. virgin gaming had really nice ones last time. interestingly enough, most of the goodies i got were from programs i didnt work for, and eventually ended up signing up with them. including paddy and virgin :D must be subliminal…

I am still using my pen holder from Vegas partner/golden star networks (now star partners) – Cards always super useful – I have one nice t shirt from VIP.com which I saw Richie at PDCAffiliates also wearing in FaceBook Pic teh other day. I usually keep teh bags as I use them for the gym or beach although I got a sweet bag this time from Referback
Thats all I can see as I look around at the moment…..

I am a Pen fanatic (ok quit snickering German affiliates I mean writing pen).

I also love well done T Shirts

But my personal all time favorite is USBs. I love USB Pens, USB Chips etc…

I agree more usefull stuff is kept while the more esoteric gets left at the hotel.

I want more mini Flash drives! I prefer the larger sizes that are not filled with advertising. :D

I always leave half of a suit case empty for my tee shirts and other stuff so that I can bring it all back with me. LOL

Totally with you on the USBs, although I may have been blind (probably from knocking myself out on the toilet paper holder) but I didn’t see ANY at the conference..

I thought the wine bottle opener from Vegas Affiliates was a brilliant idea too.. nice and heavy :)

Wow….hall of fame going on there Gamtrak.

Must agree – the USB’s are always a favourite. And I did take home and use the business card holder, couldnt tell you who was responsible for it though. Sorry!

Mints I would agree with. Handy for scroffing between meetings cos you either 1. smell like booze 2. dont have time for lunch.

Good point Alex, I actually do use the bags for shoebags or gym bags. And, just quietly, I have on occassion used the money clips. Baaa-ling!

I did bring home an electronic dice which is kinda cool..although every time I move it, it starts beeping and flashing which is kinda annoying but is what it’s designed for so cant really fault it for that.

    Cheers for your input!

Well made shirts (tastefully done) are super, I like the cards and def the flash drives, for all we do what could be better. Mouse pads are over done, how many does one need? I am using the FT one now though soi the timeing was right on the money there.

The balls and stuff sre good for a quick toy for the grandkids though I do use one as a stress releiver. Oh and one can never have to many ink pens (as long as they write smooth, lots of skippers out there).

The sporting Bet t-shirts are always good quality, so I always look out for them. USB are great too. 888 had cool water bottles and beer glasses.

Things I kept and liked were pokerstars deck of cards, I think UB had some mints, betus had their girls calendar, a full tilt pen (lost my own) and hand bag. When packing my bags I did end up leaving a lot of stuff in the hotel garbage bin because it was dead weight and I knew where it was going to end up anyways. Jeremy from PAP wrote a good article about this maybe a week before Barcelona and how to run a booth, get the affiliates attention and products worth keeping.

I got a bubblegum fruit machine in Amsterdam one year, I think it was Amsterdam anyways…the booze clouds the memory a little.

Tshirts, quality cards, flash drives (thanks Jackpot, yours was sweet…flash drive I mean) and teddy bears for the young’un. Again, smashing teddy bear from Jackpot Macey (my daughter) loved it then she puked on it!!

My cats love those stress relievers too.

I came back with a crappy green fruit of the loom tshirt this time…will be good for painting in or doing the garden I guess! :wink-wink

I had the girls personally sign their photos on the calendar.

I can confirm that the Business Card holders and Chip-Shaped USB drives were provided by… *ahem* VC.com… Having recently left VC I can confirm that they is all outta card holders. Chip USBs however, they have A lot of!

T shirts I like, as long as they’re quality. Still got about 4 virgin gaming ones (2 on the go – 2 still wrapped) that get regular outings, cheers Patrick! The poor quality T’s I still hold on to but they get used when I change the oil on my scooter!

The Expekt stand always gets a look in because their wire-bound notebooks are just class, with decent covers to lean on and gets used througout the year.

My old mate Tim Pindar is notoriously tight fisted and always forces me to get him pens from referback as he insists they are simply the best pens he has ever used.

I really liked the Star Partners Cap at Barca as it wasn’t massively branded and had a cool variation on their logo so, unlike the others I’ve accumulated, I actually wear it!

I would really like a programme to offer items that I can give to my 2 children that aren’t branded with gaming as it annoys my missus:roflmao: Having returned last year with a Full Tilt bear and this year with a Jackpot Joy Bear she’s starting to think that I’m a bit cheap!

Full marks, though to Chilli Poker this year… Amelia can’t get enough of her Pimento Hinchable!
