The low limit tables at Pokerstars (and at UB, for that matter) are as soft as any other online poker room’s low limit tables. I’ve played on at least 20 different online poker rooms, and I’ve yet to see any tough competition at any of them until I started playing the higher limits (above $3/$6).

The CPA at Pokerstars is on a tiered structure, so you get a higher CPA (up to $300) if you deliver more players. The tier is outlined on the site:

    Pokerstars Affiliate Program

If you don’t like CPA deals, then it’s probably not the right program for you, but Pokerstars is an excellent company to do business with, especially if you’re seriously looking for “honest” poker rooms. Pokerstars has an excellent reputation for integrity.

    Never Mind…delete, delete, delete

i cant believe im arguing with some guy whether Poker Stars is a good place to play poker

as for these guys who harp on the fact that some rooms have better players, they are victims of hype, started by the likes of pacific poker, notorious publicity stunt, started spreading the word that their players were terrible, etc…its all pure garbage, there is no such thing, you cant notice any real difference in player quality from room to room, Poker Stars probably have better players than most because they offer bigger money, so if you’re playing in $1 million tourney’s the players will be pretty good wherever you play, but if you play nickel and dime games, there is no difference in player quality, as Randy said

as for ultimate bet, there is probably no better place for a newbie to start playing, they offer something like 10 freerolls a day

if somebody forced me to say which is the toughest room i have played at, i would say Full Tilt, but thats just my experience, it could be different for everyone
