I created the new account as per the other email, and sent you the details earlier but it’s still showing zero stats (obviously because it hasn’t been migrated yet), looking forward to seeing how the sites have been doing when the accounts are merged…

    Thanks.

How long does the merger normally take Chris?

    Cheers.

    Hi owldeath 2,

Thank you for your quick reply to my message and providing the necessary
details in order for me to investigate your account.

Mainstreet previously sent all Affiliates an email advising them of the
transition from Playtech to RTG in order to service all players and
    affiliates.

Affiliates were asked to Re-Register @ http://www.mainstreetaffiliates.com and a post was also made on the CAPS forum December 7th

    http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com/bb/mainstreet-transition-request.16917.html ?

Granted we experienced some technical issues along the way, but I’ve tried my best to keep affiliates informed by posting messages on the Casino Affiliate Programs Forum:

    http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com/bb/main-street-affiliates.0168.html?

As I had not received any emails from you, I sent a personal message this
morning asking for your account details and I discovered the issue was you
had NOT Re-registered your account with Mainstreet, Hence I was unable to
    link your accounts.

Currently I am manually linking all previous affiliates from Playtech who
Re-Registered on the RTG side in the sequence they were received.

It is a time consuming process, however it will ensure all revenues generated by Affiliates are properly credited to Affiliates. For clarity, it is a reporting issue and not a tracking issue. All revenues are tracking to affiliates at the casino level but I have to link all of these casino IDs to the global IDs in order to have them show up in your reporting stats. We opted for this time consuming manual approach because we wanted 100% accuracy. Had we done it in an automated fashion there would have been mistakes.

I will advise you when your accounts have been linked, as of this morning yours was the last to be Re-Registered.

    Sincerely,

    Chris Ludwig

Thanks for your efforts – I did re-register so I’m not sure what you mean by the sentence in bold, did that re-registration go through properly? I do seem to have a new account under the same name but with no stats.

    Cheers,

    Owly.

    Hi owldeath2,

To clarify the sentence in bold:

Your account was not Re-registered until December 12th, So regarding all the posts you made over the past few weeks I was unable to do anything as the first step in the process was not completed “Re-registering”.

Now that you have completed this step, your account is active and I will advise you when the back office functionality will be available to you.

    Sincerely,

    Chris Ludwig

I just finished reviewing your website and discovered you still have our casino properties listed under Playtech, and you are using Playtech tracking codes which would explain why you are unable to view your statistics.

Example: The tracking code you are running for slots.com, which actually was changed to slotsplus.com in July 2006 is a Playtech Tracking Code:

    http://banner.slotscr.com/cgi-bin/redir.cgi?xxxxx

The RTG tracking code you should be using would look like this:

    http://www.slotsplus.com/Remote/AidD…d=0&bannerID=0

When you update your site you will have the benefit of reviewing your statistics, I will send you a “PM” with the other updates required.

    Sincerely,

    Chris Ludwig

    Hi owldeath2,

Here is an excerpt from the email sent to Affiliates in the first week of November 2006:

We will need you to make some changes and apologize for any inconvenience this causes you. At this time we ask that you re-register at http://www.mainstreetaffiliates.com using your existing login and password. Once you have done this please login and create new tracking codes for your
site(s). This is required to ensure accurate tracking going forward on the RTG platform.

If you have any questions please contact us at chris@mainstreetca.com

To answer your question regarding the traffic you sent using Playtech tracking codes:

You will need to update your site with the correct RTG tracking codes, then I will have to manually link your players to your account.

This will be done, however is another time consuming process.

Now that you have taken the first step in re-registering your account, you will need to take the second step by updating the correct RTG tracking codes on your site, then I will have the ability to rectify your issue’s.

    Sincerely,

    Chris Ludwig

Ok, I don’t have a record of that email and only found out through this site about the changeover. I’ve now updated all my links, so those players from the last couple of months will not be wasted then?

Sorry if I’ve caused an additional workload for you. Much appreciated. :yang2:
