Inactiveelgoog wrote:you are very sure about that ?btw. im getting curious about that site that is comin soon, lol:)
Well the site is online for about three days now, but only now I feel it has the absolute minimum amount of content to be showed here:hehe:
If you’d like to change links, I am searching for that linking script right now! (You know, the one that puts the most hits in on top…I think LadyOfHoldem uses it somewhere.)
So webmasters, please exchange links with me!
EDIT; Elgoog, yes I am sure, an article about gambling law will be released on my site soon… PS: I am sure but I have a disclaimer of half a page however:laughing:

Is it???
If it is than we certainly nee a thread like this for affiliatesAugust 4, 2006 at 3:39 pm #701042Anonymous
InactiveHi – this thread started as trying to get a list of all the countries that do not have any current laws against their citizens playing at online casinos. I am trying to gather a list of all the “legal” countries in order to help all us affiliates in knowing which countries we can market to.
I don’t know about you guys, but I find myself running into constant questions when submitting to search engines for other countries. Why waste our time in optimizing for countries where their citizens are not allowed to play?
So, in the end, I guess you could say this thread is for players and affiliates.

InactivePlease let me know whether I could republish this list on my blog?
ThanksAugust 9, 2006 at 12:29 pm #701532Anonymous
InactiveOnce you know what is legal for players affiliates can make their own decisions as to whom they want to target, hence this is also the list for affiliates.
A general trend that seems to emerge is that the English speaking countries seem to be at the forefront while about 80% of the other legal countries seem to be low GDP per capita countries where a general lawlessness prevails.
The lasseters group is licensed in the Northern territories of Australia.

InactiveIn Germany it is illegal to operate or market an online casino, Sportsbook or Poker Room without a German issued licence.
There are a few in Germany, like betandwin.de – which has a casino. Amusingly, you can fund your sportsbook account with Paypal here, which in turn you can cash in for casino credits …
Interwetten.de is another one with Sports, Casino and Poker – there are a few more.
It is not illegal for players to play at casinos.
What Party Poker have done is set up their for fun url, where you can only play for free – partypoker.net which they are allowed to advertise in Germany with. It can be seen on TV at times as well.

Inactiveperalis wrote:In Germany it is illegal to operate or market an online casino, Sportsbook or Poker Room without a German issued licence.I was wondering why alot of the online casinos offer their casinos in the German language. I suppose this means that they are liscensed for Germany then? If this is the case, it would be ok for affiliates to market these casinos? For example, Intercasino makes German banners. Is this for the country or just for German speaking people that live outside of Germany?
Can anyone clarify?
Still waiting to see if anyone knows about China or Japan.

InactiveI know that does not help you but if you register a German (de) gambling domain
you are asking for trouble.elgoog wrote:Germany:

InactiveThey would need a German gambling license issued by the German government to operate legally in Germany. The banners are for German speaking people.

That’s all I was trying to point out with my previous comments.
