Hi all (Nick)
Nick, ….. you touch me. ya … you read between the lines and i’m going thru some hard times.
but not ready to do anything like put a bullet thru my head lol.
but it had made me stop and smell the roses. to appreciate the very special people in my life …. many …. such as yourself .. that i’ve never met in person yet feel closer to than many i see everyday.
THAT …. is what makes you all so special.
I love you folks. that is my motivation to be so hard on programs I don’t even promote. I know they are screwing my friends … and I cannot abide by that or sit quiet. I also would like to thank the Prof for his understanding and patience with me on that subject.
I stand to gain nothing other than losing my membership to a place I hold as nearly a shrine. But I have to speak up and try to protect those that i hold so dear.
August 17, 2007 at 11:20 pm #745988AnonymousInactiveI, too have a preference for criticizing programs I don’t even promote. The thing is that if you let crappy programs have their way it sets a precedent for all other programs and some of the better ones may start adopting crappy strategies/terms etc.

U know i’m not the kind of guy who likes to get emotionally attached to anyone, so I don’t handle praise too well
I am just grateful that there are people like u who appreciate me, and that inspires me to go on
And I try to provide u with the same courtesy in return, it’s a simple give and take really
U are serving a purpose in people’s lives here and that brings it’s own reward, and I find the internet in general the most fascinating thing i’ve seen in hundreds of years
It really opened the communication lines and saved some valuable time for everyone, it’s nice talking to people that u normally wouldn’t get a chance to meet
Take care, I know we’ll be talking during football season, i’m sure you’ll be fine, the hard times only make u appreciate the easier ones more when they come around
August 18, 2007 at 8:28 am #746016AnonymousGuestNick my friend.
that’s what makes our relationship special. I know you’re not the type to get emotional….. yet you have.
lol. I feel special. I’ve aroused in you the initiative to say something. I got your number. you care. even if you try to act indifferent.
luv ya man!
thank you! and nobody worry. I’m too damn old to do something stupid. and it warms my heart to read posts such as Nicks.
and yes ….. I’ll be looking for your advice come soon – footballl season.

August 20, 2007 at 8:50 pm #746195AnonymousInactiveHi Steve,
This is a great thread, and sorry to hear that it came about from difficult circumstances. Hope things pick up.
I’ve met some really great people in this community over the years and what I cherish most is the openness and the genuine kind nature that people show here. Whether good or bad, happy or sad, work related or otherwise, always knowing that you can come here and share your thoughts with close friends is a wonderful thing.
Communities are built by strong minds, determined souls and good hearts.
Bravo to CAP for building a strong respectable community and to CAP members for maintaining it! Ditto for the lovely folks at GPWA. :hattip:
I look forward to coming here often, even though I may not post nearly as much to show for it. YIKES! Mind you, I’d probably never leave if I could get Peralis and AmCam to share more jokes here, Dom to giggle with me til the tummy cries for mercy and Ssd to play a few tunes on his guitar. :wink-wink
Much respect and success to everyone. Hope to see many of you in Barca.
Cheers,
Fina
August 23, 2007 at 7:10 pm #746519alephMemberJust thought I would chime in and let everyone know how much I have benefited from this forum and from your posts in particular, BB1. I jumped into this game not knowing a line of html from a grocery list, and made a lot of mistakes right out of the gate—promoting bad programs, spending money on bad advertising, you name it. I actually discovered CAP doing a google search for info on Brandy Casino, who I was sure had been screwing me with last minute winners at the end of every month, and the information I found here has been invaluable. I would actually look at your and a few other heavyweights websites to figure out which programs I should promote. I had to figure out something—I was a Realtor up until I had to stop driving due to a medical condition that causes seizures, and the information and advice here has given me the means to keep my head above water and provide for my family. I can’t tell you how much it has meant. Not to seem mellow-dramatic, but if not for CAP I would probably be slinging drinks or waiting tables and living on food stamps and unemployment in the winter.
Cheers Folks, and thanks so much.

You have been always at the forefront helping new webmasters and sorting out their issues. Also you have been a watchdog for the affiliate programs you have been acquainted with. You have exhibited great dedication and love for this community.
I am glad to be a part of this forum with people like you, Lou, Dom, Captain, Brian, J Todd and an endless number of great guys who have helped this forum in being a force to reckon in this industry. In a nutshell this is a group of highly determined, well respected, experienced people. What I appreciate the most is that people help each other without any biases and I can say some of my good friends are here at CAP. This is unique to only our industry and a great help for all the affiliates, affiliate programs and also newbies getting into the business.
On my desktop, CAP has equal amount of importance as my outlook or messengers. It’s like a ritual, checking out CAP everyday.
Steve, some of the best threads here at CAP have been posted by you. We all love and appreciate your presence in the forum. Being on the other side of the business we can’t be as open as an affiliate can be on a forum. But we do check and appreciate all good posts and good people like you. Hope things work out for you the way you want it. Please let me know if I can help in any way.
