    OK, let’s not turn this into a slugfest.

    Robert, affiliates are naturally protective of their referrals. If we were not, we would be broke.

    Referring a player verbally to another casino will raise eyebrows. What an affiliate will visualize here is $ bills floating down the river. Too much of that and it’s like the aff site is a boat that sprung a leak.

    The solution here would have been to notify affs that xxx casino is temporarily down. :hattip:

    i dont now way anyone keeps staying with this company there are lots of casinos, I do research before i promote anything :cappy:

    I’ll tell you why.
    1. We work hard to make sure our affiliates are taking care of.
    2. We send out over 1 million dollars a month in payouts.
    3. We have the best conversion rate in the industry.

    We will beat any other program or we will pay you double the difference.

    Robert, I have to say that you are an excellent aff manager and also PR person and if I had such a position open I would hire you in a minute.

    And for 20% of deposits I would actually promote your properties if I didn’t have such a dislike for the high bonus business model, as well as the awful player reputation found at casinomeister and elsewhere.

    So we will never see eye to eye while you work at Gambling Wages, but I did want to express that I respect you as a person.

    I’ve got to agree with you about Robert. He is an excellent affiliate manager and pr.

    Why is Wild of Vegas down though? When will it be back up?

    I think the cs rep. should have told the player the truth, and how long they expect the casino to be down for. Ask them to please check back after that time and apologize for the inconvenience.

    They shouldn’t have referred them to another property though.

    I may be confused – But couldn’t the CS person just see that the player had come through an aff and let the AM know so they could assign that player – OR if they can’t doesn’t the CS person make a note that the player arrived at casino x and was reffered to Casino Y and then the AM or can reassign the player to the affiliate when he sees what happened to the player referred

    Either way the player should be tracked to the aff as the player wouldn’t have even got there without the aff

    Am I barking up the wrong tree?

    Thank you Dominique, I agree with your words on the high bonus model. We are going to change one of our casinos to a low bonus model real soon.

    I wish that were the case, but the CS rep cannot see if it is an affiliate link or not.
    We have over 100 CS reps in various countries and they have no idea how the affiliate program works. What has been to done to fix this problem is we have sent out an email asking affiliates to remove the two casinos and to promote our other brands until the issue has been resolved. Also we are giving them cash if they had the banners up for the last 3 days.

    When things go down, somtimes it is a quick fix somtimes is may take longer.
    It all should be back up and running in a few days.

    Thanks – Looks like you guys are definitely doing the right thing – I don’t know a huge amount about what happens in the “back end” of a casino and this is very interesting –

    I understand that it would be hopeless to expect to train cs to manage affiliate tags and where each player came in from. That’s why players shouldn’t be referred elsewhere when an affiliate might have sent them to you. It makes me uncomfortable knowing casinos I’m promoting might be referring my players to other properties without giving me credit. That’s not ok.

    As a player, I’ve never called any casino support, and have had the support rep even mention another property other than the one I ask about. EVER. When i call Casino A, I expect the cs to be Casino A’s cs and that’s it.

    As a player, I don’t like knowing to much is shared between casinos (support, management, etc). When I know that stuff I usually don’t play at the other properties because they seem like one big casino rather than separate properties then.
