InactiveThe only public statement Netller has is that they will comply with any future regulation.
So until regulations are set – should be business as usual.December 21, 2006 at 10:59 pm #719629Anonymous
InactiveI don’t usually make deposits so I don’t know what to say. However, I get income from gambling affilate programs and I’m able to make deposits from my Netellet account to gambling sites.

dustin21nMemberI love Neteller and I want to see it stay “legal” and prosper.
My main use for Neteller is to process affiliate commission payments. These payments are deposited by the various casino and poker room sources and then sent to me as a single check at the end of each month. . . . I couldn’t find anything in the new law that makes transactions of this type illegal in any way. U.S. residents can receive money from online casinos, but they will have problems sending it to them.
My (non-attorney) guess is that Neteller, being a Brittish company that is publically traded on the London Stock Exchange, will honor the US restrictions on the funding of internet casinos for Americans so that they will not be blackballed by the US banks and other domestic financials. This will be important when and if they should wisely decide to expand their purview into a wider range of online banking and purchasing services. When they consider their expansion options, a positive in the mix could likely be a lively base of affiliate services like we use now, plus all the non-US casino funding that they have always had and will continue to grow every day. I think they will work to protect that

dustin21nMemberI’ve wondered about the magic 270 day limit when everything is supposed to be completely worked out with the US banks etc. I’ll be surprised if a reluctant financial community will even start thinking about it by then. I didn’t see anything spelled out in the law about how who will pay for all the complicated police work that will be needed. Who knows how long it will take to argue that one out?

InactiveI am going to speak with my AMs asap as for the first time ever I noticed something weird on my banking statements. Someone, bank directly or instructed by others, ran traces on each and every EFT I did this past period.
The tradelines used to just show Nt888 (their phone number) and a transaction ID this past month they show the above plus a line that states “Trace 00000343091273987999” and a few more lines of text. I guess I may have triggered the action by quadrupling my EFTs in an attempt to get my money out of Neteller before they screw us.
I still have way too much sitting in this online wallet that could buckle at any time. Call me paranoid but now to boot I am now worried about my bank doing traces on my transactions. Hell next week big brother might be kicking my doors in and taking all my computers; jeeesh I am seriously sorta freaked out about the tradelines.
Anyone else evere notice anything weird about their bank tradelines regarding neteller?

InactiveHorrible news, I hope they do not start blocking commission payments for US affiliates. Neteller has always been my payment choice, and it would be a mess to have to direct all of my payments elsewhere. So far I haven’t seen any transactions blocked on my end. I am located in Arizona and bank with a local credit union. Maybe the smaller financial institutions are not blocking these transactions…yet :dozing:

dustin21nMemberI suppose you are requesting an electronic transfer. I’ve just been spending the $11 for second day check courier service. My checks come written on First Citizens Bank and Trust, Atlanta, Ga. and get deposited without incident.
I advertise non-American casinos and poker rooms to non-Americans and get paid a percentage of the non-American profits for my trouble. That’s not illegal. If some US money gets in the mix, that’s tough. Let some one else figure out how it got there. I don’t have any way to police that.

InactiveNeteller sent me an email about a week ago stating that my Instacash priviledges have been suspended because “your bank has returned an item in the past”. Yeah, like over a year ago and many transactions later (I won’t bore you with the details). I think they may be going through each account with a fine tooth comb and finding any reason what-so-ever to block those accounts. Good news is that I haven’t had any problem transferring funds from my Neteller to my Neteller debit card or to my bank account, and at this point that’s all that matters to me. If I want to gamble, Payspark still works.:Pisser:
