gambler_zeeMemberI know neteller has not implemented any new rules, it may have something to do with your bank being aware of what neteller actually is. Someone made a post about neteller backing out in feb. over at PAW and there is a post also with an email from neteller stating they havent decided what they will do yet, and are looking into the actual law, they say it depends on how much money they stand to lose, which is b.s.

vladcizsolMemberGuys you can expect that banking will become increasingly difficult in the New Year.
Most people are expecting Neteller to cease gaming transactions (and commission payments) to US citizens in the first quarter of the year.

InactiveI think some US banks are blocking NETeller but NETeller does not want to admit it because if the word gets out they’ll lose the remaining US customers with banks that have not implemented blocks for one reason or another.
After 3 live help sessions and a phone call NETeller said it was because it was a saving account and not a checking account. Which I replied, well how did you certify it then?

InactiveIn what I see as very interesting timing, I got an email yesterday saying I was in Neteller’s top 1% of customers and was now a Neteller VIP (Big deal… all it gets me is 24/7 front of line customer service!!!) They were so desperate to let me know of my new status, they called me 12 hours later!
Apart from the fact there is NO chance I would be in their top 1% of customers, the most interesting part is that I am not American.
This kind of desperation to get non-US customers to do more with them makes it look like the writing is on the wall for the US side of their business.
Of course, I could be wrong – as I have been one or two times before. :xmas:

Professor
What do you recommend for us to receive commission payments? Checks or another service?

InactiveInstadebit is still accepting funds from US citizens and crediting their Instadebit account from online gaming companies.

vladcizsolMemberTitus at this point I am not sure what will end up being the prefered solution. I am confident we will find alternative means, I just dont know what the programs are going to implement.
