This will be grossly unfair to those who bought the links but I have to make up the debt somehow. I would feel pretty bad but there is only one person to blame here.I don’t see how this would recoup any funds at all. Just piss a bunch of people off. Promise me you won’t take My link(s) down though, since I’m giving backlinks instead of $$.

Total scam.
I don’t think that this is an accurate statement. First of all, there is no way to predict this. Second, who gives a crap about PR when you have the nice rankings that this site does? Is your business model affiliate referrals or is it selling text ads? Because if you are performing well, companies buying your referrals won’t care about your PR.
I’m only on page 3 now, but I’ll read the rest soon…

Predicted pagerank is one of the most useless tools ever created. There are hundreds of them and they all have their own algorithms for figuring pagerank, none of which can accurately guess how Google determines PR.

3) Reciprocal links are nearly useless. This statement is completely wrong too. There is so much more to it than simply calling it “reciprocal linking.”

InactiveOkay, I now noticed that I just unburied this topic and I’m sorry for doing that. Anyways, I hope that everything gets sorted out and i can assure you that Bryan is a great guy who is good to his word.
We have had many business transactions in the past and contracts were involved. Each contract was fulfilled completely and I enjoyed doing business with Bryan. In fact, we have been talking about doing more business shortly.
So to all that are reading this, I hope that you don’t think any more/less of either of the parties. They BOTH seem to be very professional from where I stand.
Bryan was exiting the industry, and the communication problems are understandable. Owl bought a site and found some problems. I can’t really comment any more on this position because none of the emails were posted, nor was the contract. I’ve talked with own via email a few times though, and I sense a high level of professionalism as well.

InactiveAdioking – your links are staying don’t worry.
Bryan has been in contact with the debtor finally which should settle the legal issues. As for the rest, I still don’t feel great about the supposed ‘guaranteed $xxxx so bump up the price to $xx,xxx’ and Bryan withdrawing from MSN messenger, not responding to PM’s on here or emails, or giving me a phone number – the conclusion to me seemed obvious. Continued help with the site for a few months until I was settled was part of the agreement.
Anyway, we’ve all got other things to be getting on with now :smoker:
