InactiveI’ve cut down to 10 hours a day – including weekends.
But I step away also now for 15 minutes or so every couple hours and go outside and unwind a bit…
When the days get shorter I will cut down some more.

Inactive6 hours during the day – and another 2-3 hours late a night (when I do my best work).
So that makes 9 per day / 6.5 days a week.
Or a 60 hour week.Yep that number feels about right.

WineGuyMemberI guess about 6 hours a day, but a lot of that seems to be ‘spacing out’ at the monitor.

Freerolls.bzMemberMy day starts from around 8.30 am for around 6 hours or so,then I have a break….10k run or an hour on the bike trainer.
Then I have to do it all again because of the crazy time zones………when I should be winding down for the night…………you guy’s & doll’s over on the other side of the planet wake up with a “Good Morning”
I must work at least 12 hours plus a day including weekends…………..lol

innoneMemberSame as OP, but I am always interrupted by my sons who want to play, or my spouse who wants to argue, so cut in half.

arturs.vitolsMemberI know that I can’t function if I don’t have a day off to look forward to. I would much rather do 6 days at 12 hours and have a day off then do 7 days a week at 10 hours a day. Does anyone feel the same way?

bonamiMemberIm just starting on this but me and my friends work about 4 hours a day each, that will make it 12 hours a day if we sum the total. It is great but i think i will increase the amount of time a day as soon as we get more penny’s. For now i have to split my time between my job and my wife and family…

arturs.vitolsMemberAn affiliate partnership? Well your site looks good. Do you guys each bring a skill like design, programming or content or how are you splitting the duties? I would be interested to see how you guys made the jump to full time. I know that is a big decision for many affiliates, but it would be even bigger when there are 3 people involved.

bonamiMemberThank you for your positive comment Greg :hattip:. Regarding your comment a friend and I got a meeting 3 months ago (we both work on gaming sites here in Costa Rica, well i dont anymore) we agreed to spend some time at night developing a website (anyway all we need to spend is time), after that we brang another friend. I heard a couple of stories from two succesfull affiliates i used to manage. For now we have no problems cause non of us has quitted his job, but as soon as the website generates enough we will do it. Now we split the duties in 3 parts (im in charge of design and programming) Sergio manages the deals with the affiliate programs, the promos and the link building and Ken take care of the reviews, the content and the forum. It is a progressive desicion, im the one that always takes the risks (I like danger lol) so i work about 6 hours on my job and 4 hours on the website, for sure i will be the first on quitting very soon.

InactiveFar too many hours compared to what I get out of it, my hourly wage from this industry would be illegal in most countries but I live in hope and follow every new seo good practice, write original content, swap links but it’s not enough, it’s never enough for Google. :flush:

Besides you need to love this to be encouraged and committed, otherwise you will leave it as another sad attempt to make money.
