InactiveTo claim that a bot changed the odds of the game or pay outs the Pirate would have been due is absurd and a way to avoid paying a winner a large sum of money
The question is not whether a bot can change the odds of the game.
It is only if one was used – even if it was an imbecile one that just triggers the “hit ” button, it would be against the rules at Hampton.
Lol, I don’t mean to defend any of the parties here as I really have no properly formed opinion myself yet.
One has to wonder though, has the pirate developed a new basic strategy adapted to the Caribbean 21, that gives him an edge over the house?
Because, regardless of what RTG says, the many wins at several casinos show that he DID have an edge over the house. This can hardly be coincidence.
It does not mean he used a bot. Or did anything illegal. It just means that he knows how to win that game.

InactiveThe professor makes a lot of sense regarding this issue. I am pleasantly surprised by his stance. The prof has always struck me as one to stay out of disputes.
I want to hear the manager who tried the gangster talk tell it to the beak lol.
What will happen here though is an out of court settlement, non disclosure style.

InactiveThat is what I think too, Joeyl.
And if you get to know the professor, he can have some very strong opinions.
Joeyl, are you going to become an affiliate?

InactiveOh for sure Dom the prof has strong opinions on disputes no doubt, more to the point is he does’nt necissarily air them as loudly or often as others have in the past.
I would like to make some money Dom but gambling is a mighty saturated pool imo and i fear i’d not get much of a bite, or dare I say i’d get bitten instead lol.
One can only try.
Call that a hesitant yes although cpa I think I would prefer actually although i’m game for pretty much everything that is quite good according to some, apart from homosexuality lol. I will not try that, not even once.
Each to thier own, no offence intended to those that are different to me in any way shape or form.

InactiveYou realize of course that the Professor from CAP and who posts on wol is not the same person as the one who posts at bet2gamble.
There is a lot of competition in the casino field – true. You need to be serious about it as a business and sped a lot of time on it – all the time you have.
Perhaps you want to show us your site and we can help you make it better by critiquing it.

InactiveJust curious for opinion here
what do you think would highlight bot play on the players logs ?
consistent bet amounts
short time between hands
perfect play or
consistent playanything else ?
if you were using a bot you wouldnt accidently buy a card on 18 and bust when the dealer had a 6 face up. and you would hit on 16 if the dealer had a 9 face up. ( i am not saying this is or it isnt an example from the pirates actual play )
and what would realistically be the difference to the casino if a player used a bot( assuming that you were prepared to sit down and play perfect play ) that played perfect play compared to sitting down with a book at hand. sure by doing it manually you would make a few mistakes but nothing material over 1,000 or 2,000 hands.
from a casinos perspective wouldnt the use of a bot just speed up play and accelerate the casinos advantage because all the games have a house edge. microgaming are not fools and they are happy to have automated play.
and if you had some unfair advantage( ie software that somehow compromized the software ) wouldnt that mean that you would never have sustained losing streaks.
cheers
Dean

InactiveYou’ve said it all Dean. All of the above and no less. Your opinion is not really expandable by me anyway because there is little else cogent to say that i can think of.
Dom, if I do something that would not just get hammered lol i’ll show it to you. Until then all i can say is … hopefully soon, fingers crossed I can bypass my natural thickness to do something bordering on lucid enough to be classed as remotely positive in nature.

InactiveDean: If I were to use a bot, I would stop it periodically to include a mistake or two. I would figure that otherwise the play would not look natural. Even when you play perfect strategy you just hit a button at the wrong time occasionally. Like if you sneeze, or take a sip of tea or whatever.
If the pirate was not using a bot, he certainly did perfect basic strategy for this unusual variation of Blackjack. That is a lot of wins at a lot of casinos.
If I find the time I’ll drop in next week and try my hand at it too – it is really quite different from the BJ I am used to playing, and the strategy needs to be adjusted.
I suppose a lot of people will want to try it now.
