InactiveBernie. Have a good cry, howl at the moon and kick the shit out of some inanimate object.
Then turn inward and find the strength and fortitude to support your mate at a time she needs it most. You won’t have to look far.
Essiac tea should be used ASAP. In short it cleans the blood, nutrifies the body and wallops the nasties. Pretty good for any illness anyway.
Our thoughts are with you.

vladcizsolMemberBernie I am crushed to hear this :unhappy:
I will pray for you and your wife. I wish her the best of luck and hope there is a chance of recovery soon.
Bernie, would it be ok if we set up a fund for people to contribute to that would help you offset the massive expenses you must be incurring?

InactiveGood Idea Professor!! I got an email from Bernie and know his hospital bills are crushing!!!

InactiveThank you all for your support. We have had good family and friend around us this whole time and we are fighting this like mad.
We do not accept the prognosis and are aware of many research projects that are very recent that show great results in combating this cancer.
Our spirits are high although we leave tomorrow for chemo and radiation therapy for the next six weeks. We have the weekends off so hopefully we will be able to make it back home in the hills once a week depending on how Kristen feels.
We again cannot thank you enough for your kind words and messages. About the fund, I guess any of you would feel funny about being asked that. The truth is , I have no idea how much this last month cost us. We are very shy about this… we have never accepted money from people before. We have never had anything like this happen before. Please someone else make up our mind for us.
However one thing Kristen and I would like to express to you: get outside and play like mad in the spring sunshine. enjoy every minute you have alive and free, this is a wonderful life!!!
We love you all!!!

Bernie & Kristen

vladcizsolMemberBernie can you please post your Neteller address?
To speed things up I think its best if all funds go directly to Bernie and Kristen.
Bernie I know its awkward, but you are a part of the family here at CAP and everyone really wants to help as best they can.
