vladcizsolMemberWe appreciate all affiliates support in this. CAP CAN do it and has experience in tackling these sort of issues bb1, it’s what we have done for years, We dont need gossip sites to help us now, but if they can add anything POSITIVE to the effort that will be fine with us. Just watch and see what CAP as a community can do and stand with us in the fight.

InactiveI agree with you BB1, but I also believe CAP is experienced and that going about things professionally is important. CAP can do that.
I do agree that affiliates need to be a collective one and stand together on this.

vladcizsolMemberThis is too important a thread to get derailed. I am deleting my post to avoid distraction. Darea I am deleting yours as well. Lets stay on subject. I am sorry other sites can devote ten pages to bashing CAP and me and if I make one little remark Im once again the villan, but that appears to be the case.
And I Was NOT referring to your forum. Sorry for the confusion.

GuestHi again all,
well as I understand it this hasn’t even been brought up at the other forums (GIA excepted) and as Nick has requested that CAP take the lead in this matter then I see no reason for CAP to not continue to lead but we will need the cooperation of all affs … especially those in the larger communities to get on board and ideally (as I picture it) all the other issues (which I’m sure have merit to those concerned) be put aside for the sake of all.
the enemy of my enemy … is my ally.
There have been issues in the past that demanded we all speak as one in order to be heard and effect immediate change. I think no issue has ever before been as big as this one … nor one that needed a strong flexing of muscle …. as this current matter.
It is essential we send a thundering message of what will happen to any program that tries to pull this kind of BS. We have the ability …. as a collective … to take them out. That is in essence what they have done to us.
I appreciate what Nick said about either closing the aff side down or lose the whole ship but to those of us left to drown … along with our families … I feel very little sympathy or understanding.
Perhaps had the program approached me and said these are our options and we are going to shut down the aff side … long enough to become sea-worthy again … then I know for myself I would have been okay with that.
But that time has come and will be past very soon.

InactiveGood stuff.
The only thing I’d like to add is that they commit to integrating Villa Fortuna tracking into the Grand Prive system, or at least commit to carrying over affiliate tags if they intent to cross market.

InactiveEverything from Grand Prive, also Villa Fortuna will be removed from our sites!
working on this now!And no matter with what you guys from Grand Prive come up, there will be no way back this time.
I am so tired of you trying always to find a way to to screw usDecember 5, 2008 at 1:57 am #789329
stevejMemberWe never promoted them, but if / when there is a press release or if someone wants to write an article we will put it in our newsletter for Dec (already released, but it will get archived) and we will also run it again in January. We have a lot of casino executives on our subscriber list. Feel free to add live links to blacklist pages. Or a list of them at the end of the article. Just an offer … :hattip:

vladcizsolMemberHere is a short statement from senior management at Grand Prive/ Villa Fortuna outlining why they believe they are within their rights to stop paying affiliates for the players we sent them.
I am shocked at this stance and even more shocked that they say many of their largest affiliates are fine with this and have already migrated over to Villa Fortuna. Shame on the affiliates that throw all ethics out the window and work with this rogue!
Quote:I realize that there is some confusion and frustration surrounding the decision to close the affiliate wing of the GrandPrive.com group. The reality is that the increasingly difficult trading conditions in the United States, coupled with Microgaming’s decision to halt any NEW registrations from US-based players, has led to GrandPrivé Affiliates not being able to sustain itself as a viable business unit. It makes no commercial sense to GrandPrive.com to keep that business unit open if it’s not profitable and not fulfilling its corporate mandate.
We received notification of this decision from GrandPrive.com and within 24 hours communicated this decision to close GrandPrivé Affiliates (not the casinos) to it’s affiliates. We then timeously, and on two separate occasions again communicated this to the Grand Prive affiliates. Grand Prive Affiliate’s also clearly communicated that all affiliates will receive any monies due to them when the last payments were made, early December. That was duly done as promised.
The Terms and Conditions , under the “Termination” clause states: “The term of this Agreement will begin when the applicant completes an application form and accepts the terms and conditions herein and will continue until either party notifies the other in writing that it wishes to terminate the Agreement, in which case this Agreement will be terminated immediately.
TERMINATION IS AT WILL, FOR ANY REASON, BY EITHER PARTY. For purposes of notification of termination, delivery via e-mail is considered a written and immediate form of notification.”
Grand Privé Affiliates has acted responsibly and within the rights afforded by the Terms and Conditions. Grand Privé Affiliates has also given ample warning of its intentions to close GrandPrivé Affiliates on 1 December 2008.
Grand Privé casinos, however, remain open.
To move on to the issues surrounding Villa Fortuna Casino.
Please note that Grand Prive.com do not own this casino and that this is not a rebranding exercise. The situation is that we manage the Villa Fortuna Affiliate Program in terms of a partnership agreement with a European company.
We believe that future growth lies in Europe (Villa Fortuna Casino does not accept any bets from US-based players) and have encouraged all affiliates that we have a good relationship with and whom have a non US focused business to join Villa Fortuna Affiliates. Fortunately we have had a good response so far and most of our trusted affiliates have joined, and are already starting to deliver players and earn money.
We would appreciate your support in encouraging other affiliates to follow, and look forward to working together with familiar old faces (and hopefully some new ones) to build a reputable and solid business in an affable jurisdiction.
I trust this answers your questions and clarifies the situation.

LucretiaMemberHi All,
do not forget to remove the affiliate program for these rogue casinos from your site…………!!
R.
Added the bad and the ugly to the rogue pit.
villa fortuna rogue casino – grandprive rogue and blacklisted casino sites : Villa Fortuna, Bella Vegas, Casino Grand Bay, Grand Bay Poker, Casino Grand Bay, Lake Palace, Jupiter Club, Fortune Junction, Road House Reels and Jackpot Wheel Casino are blacklisted microgaming casinos – avoid these casino scans at all costs – never sign up as a players or affiliate, do not join a rogue casino affiliate program like the new one for villa fortuna.

All affs please understand this is far more than ethics, or the fact that money and power will trump.
This is about your financial survival. If we fail to burn this place down it will be devastating to the affiliate community and for years to come.
You cannot allow some place that you built to then turn around and crap on you because it will become the template for all online aff programs to come in the future.
Please understand how big this is and why it is PARAMOUNT we burn them down!

It sets the precedent.
If they thrive after this, it will soon become the norm to use affiliates to build up a casino player base and then cut off affiliate pay.
Why pay if you don’t have to?
In the real world, if the aff program is a seperate entity and it is not financially viable, it has to declare bancruptcy and it’s assets have to be divided among it’s creditors (us).
If it is allowed to happen that casinos just decide to quit paying affiliates for moneys owed,, it will not only hurt affiliates, operators should sit up and listen closely.
Do you think competent affiliates will continue to build player bases on a % deal ? They will either exit the industry, charge exorbatent CPA, or go to media buy.
Quality exposure, which is free to operators now unless it generates money for them, will become very expensive.
This is not going to be healthy for an industry that seems to be always on the defensive and always jumping through hoops anyway.
If monies are managed responsibly, there should never be a problem paying affiliates on a basis of %. The money that goes out is directly proportionate to the money that comes in.
If we all switch to huge CPA or Media Buy, that will not be so. It will be a lot harder for casinos to budget.
This is a major issue affecting the entire industry, not some small dispute some affiliates have with a particular program.
This affects everyone!

InactiveTo be honest I am getting pretty annoyed that all the other MGS programs seem to be sitting on the fence regarding this issue.
I would really expect the reputable programs such as Rewards, Wagershare, Fortune, Brightshare, 32red, Referback, Intertops and any other MGS I missed to show up in this thread and condemn Grand Prive’s rogue tactics.
