InactiveSpoke to them today. Stats have been down the past few days , they will be up again tomorrow.

InactiveI’ll stick up for BCP.
Like anyone in this business there’s a few things they still need to improve, like their stats, but overall they are definitely worth doing business with if you have traffic to send them.

InactiveThe stats have seemed to update. Please note that I only brought this to this forum because stats had not updated in a few days, and I tried to contact BCP several times and never got a response. I only got a response today after replying to a promotional email they sent. All that being said, to be clear and fair, stats do look normal, and other than their stat problems and lack of communication, the brands they hold convert well and make good revenue.

just received this email from BCP:
At this time the payment for your Affiliate account “xxxxx” has been placed on hold. According to our records the account is showing a low volume of traffic, and as per our Terms and Conditions we ask that you contact your Affiliate Manager to further discuss the status of your account.
If you are not sure who your Affiliate Manager is, please contact our support Team via email at bcpresponse.com
isn’t that pretty. very antique tactics. i thought this was the 21st century and arm twisting wasn’t part of doing business.
golden casino has been having problems with their bonus terms and conditions causing a wave of complaints @ casinomeister. so i’ve removed their property a while back. i still advertise casinoblasters casinos and drive over 600 uniques per month with ZERO conversions. all US based traffic gets bounced from there to golden casino.
for some reason i didn’t see anyone hold my payment when nothing converted @ casino blasters for many months…c*nts
so yea, advertise at your own peril.

winner.comMemberat BCP check the “Earning By Category” and you will see the ‘real deposits’
I have sent 530 hits to casino blasters and they sent me the same email about low traffic – I chatted with my aff manager and he said my account was unheld (if that’s a word)
casino coins has also been up and down for the last little while as well

That is the part that pisses me off.. you send them traffic, get players.. change a few things which means they get less (Not zero – simply less) and you get an email saying that your payment is on hold….
Dear Kevin,
At this time the payment for your Affiliate account “revcas” has been
placed on hold. According to our records
the account is showing a low volume of traffic, and as per our Terms and
Conditions we ask that you contact your Affiliate Manager to further
discuss the status of your account. If you are not sure who your Affiliate Manager is, please contact our

InactiveI also don’t see this as such a big deal. Golden Casino has problems processing deposits, just like any other US casino, hence the small conversion.
And the fact that they will discuss your poor performance – I see it as a plus, rather than negative. I would prefer an aff program to contact me to discuss such issues, instead of just skimming my stats. There are plenty of aff programs which in this case would simply move 95% of your active players to a “company account” and solve this problem without visibly breaking any T&Cs.
On a side note – In my view, to base your opinion of a certain online casino on a few pissed off players at some forum is a mistake. Especially if involves not cheating, but bonus T&C. If you think the bonus conditions are unfair, but the casino, otherwise, is a good one – tell your players to decline the bonus offer. The best way to see if your players enjoy a casino you sent them to – look at your players/deposits ratio. If your players continue to deposit, obviously the bonus T&C are not a deal-breaker.
Although I am an affiliate and I would love to get commission for the life of my players, I do understand why some companies would hold your commission until you discuss your performance. If, for example, you stop bringing new players because your website lost ranking in the last update – I am sure they would understand. But if you simply changed their banners with the banners of their competitor and expect to continue to get paid, all while advertising their competitor, i think an end of the business relationship is justified.
In any other business, both parties agree to follow the terms of a contract and both parties are expected to work in order to benefit each other. A real-world example – a car dealership is required to sell certain number of 2007 units, before they can get certain number of the new 2008 units. As I said, all affiliate programs will cut you off if you stop advertising their properties, the difference – some will be upfront, some will cheat you out of it. I think it’s good that BCP are quite upfront in making sure you understand that when you affiliate with them – it will be a two-party deal. I think Bookmaker is another company which states affiliate requirements in their T&Cs, Bet 365 has 5-player clause, as well, and probably many others.
Can you tell I was bored?

InactiveThis is a big deal! Just think if your in an accident and you cannot work OR if google decides to put your site in the sandbox for months and your not getting new players BUT in the past you have sent them nice depositing players maybe a whale or two and they in return decide since your not bringing in new players in the last 90 days to cut your affiliate account off!! Is that right? You agree to this others are soon to follow and think it is acceptable!
I will be meeting John in BCN on behalf of AGD and talking about this issue, I hold out no hope they are pretty adamant about sticking to this rule. So at this point it is on a verbal promise now that this will not happen to you via the phone is John’s response.

InactiveI am sure they will understand if the problem is beyond your reach. So far I have read of people who get their commission placed on hold, but no one said they closed their account, after talking to their aff manager. All I am doing is justifying BCP’s right to run a tight business.

Hold rightfully owed money until you discuss better placement with them?
Hello! That is BLACKMAIL!
September 10, 2008 at 2:47 pm #778301Anonymous
InactiveIt’s not blackmail if it’s a point of contract you agreed to.
I admit the BCP’s T&Cs are a little murky, but for example, Bet365 has a 5-player rule in the first month. If you bring 4 players you won’t get paid, if you bring 6 players you get paid. If any of the parties break the contract, the other party has the right to do the same.
Online gambling is business, just like any other. The same way you expect a casino to work, the casino expects you to work. I am not justifying only BCP, but any aff program which has the balls to put out a contract.
And yes, I would like to see an industry standad in T&Cs, where both parties are required to do something. This way when one aff program breaks the T&C everyone could see the facts.
