    Yay!

You start on 0 I am afraid. You can pretend to be Leeds this season, or Luton. :)

Although – as Hodgey Boy suggests we could give some points that I manually add on.

I’ll leave up to the rest of the league to decide. Closing date for decisions will be Sunday at midnight, so post your comments and suggestions for number of points etc here. On the Monday I will go with the most popular option.

    Lovely

Pretty damn easy this game…just pick the players who have left Spurs as they obviously left to fulfill their potential ;)

So, another game has been and gone, and another game week has been and gone with Jasper Van Der Blieks ‘ Zyzrazazz’ team still playing Anrei Shevchenko up front…

Biggest shock of the week was Man Citys demolition job of FA Cap winners Portsmouth. Robinho seems to be settling in nicely up at Eastlands with 2 goals and 1 assist in 2 games, netting him 15 points so far. Could he be the man for Jasper?

Or could it be our favourite winker Christiano Ronaldo. Bought on as a sub in the Man Utd vs Chelsea game, he was soon showing us all what he is best at – namely diving and gesticulating at the ref. Our boy Ronaldo scored a massive zero points this week, probably not a good return for the immense 14 million that he is valued at…

No change in the top 2, but Marscapone Utd, managed by Tobias M move up a place into third. There are only 5 points separating the top three teams in the league, but its early days yet. At the bottom, new entry Nick Haslem used the advantage of seeing who the form players were when he picked his team to score an above average 43 points. Eleven Men in Flight slipped a place and the aforementioned Zyzarzazz stayed where they were. Greg Walkers ‘Dragons’ moved off the bottom with a tasty 55 points, scooting him 7 places up the table to mid table obscurity.

Top points scorer this week was Kate Lavericks ‘The Matadors’ who amassed a huge 61 points, thanks in part to the miniscule Shaun Wright Phillips suddenly discovering how to cross a ball.

At the other end, Freddie Ng’s ‘The Zombies’ recorded a miserable 21 points, mainly due to Robbie Keanes inability to play football. However, the life long LIverpool fan seems to be settling in nicely up Scouseland, as like many of his Liverpool team mates he had his house burgled last week.

Now, there have been some mentions about averaging out Nick Haslems ‘Hazos Heroes’ team to make up for the late arrival. However, if I do that, then I should also compensate Booter as he joined in week 2. So, if it is OK with everyone I will add this weeks average score accordingly. Weeks 5 average score was 37 points, so I will add 37 points to Booter for the week he missed, and 4 x 37 points to Hazos Heroes to make up for the weeks he missed.

However, I am aware that we are playing for cash, and that Hazoes Heroes have an advantage as Nick could pick form players and not be penalised for substitutions (I mean seriously, who would have picked Zaki and Carew up front at the start of the season :)). So, I need three league members to agree to this. Post your approval or disapproval here, and if I get 3 ‘OKs’ then I will adjust the table accordingly. I hope that you think this is fair.

Another week of Fantasy Footie over and I have finally cracked.

Unable to resist the temptation, and being like a fat hairy Claudio Ranieri, I have played my wildcard. Fortified by a couple of shandies, it seemed like a good idea to make wholesale changes of my team. Including adding Carlton Cole for some reason…

But enough about me. The big news this week was Arsenals humbling at the hands of tough tackling Hull City. This was obviously a suprise result – so much so that 9.2% of all Fantasy Team managers transferred in Giovanni after seeing his wonder strike.

In the CAP Premiership there were some *very* high scores this week with 7 teams scoring 60 or more points. This was mainly down to either the 2 goals finally scored by Torres of Liverpool, or the goal and assist by Ronaldo of Man United. And if you had them in your team and made one of them Captain then you were laughing.

Top of the league this week is Ian Sims’ ‘Arsenal’ with 301 points overall opening up a gap at the top of a mighty 8 points from Jason Gabriels ‘No.1’ team. Who are number 2. Josh Greens ‘Go Go Theos Sideburns move up from 5th to make up the top 3.

At the other end of the table ,Jasper Van Der Blieks ‘Zyzarzazz’, are showing us how easy it is by fielding a team of 10 ten men – yes, Jasper still has Shevchenko in his team :) (that might be why you are bottom, son)and despite an amazing score of 61 points from ‘Eleven Men in Flight’, Anthony Hodgetts team stayed where they were.

It appears that Martyn Beacon was feeling lonely in midtable obscurity and so has slipped down to 3rd from bottom just so that he can talked about. The beautifully named ‘Dog Toffee FC’ picked up 48 points this week with 38% of those points coming from Amr Zaki who is looking like the bargain of the season. If only we had all bought him in week one eh? (Like what I did….)

Biggest mover of the week was Alex Pratts ‘Pratts Players’ who shot up 5 places from 17th to 12th – who has somehow managed to shoehorn in Torres, Ronaldo and Lampard into his team despite them being worth 37.3 million – which is nearly 40% of the entire squad budget. Still they seem to be doing the business, so the big man done good as they say in football circles.

So, onto the league standings, and as discussed over the last few week, I am going to adjust the scores for Nick Rambos ‘Booter’ and Nick Hazlems ‘Hazo’s Heroes’.

Nick R joined in Week 2, so he will get one weeks average score added to make up the missed week, and Nick H joined last week so he gets 4 weeks average score added to make up for weeks 1-4 that he missed. the average score we are using is 37 points based on the average for gameweek 5.

Another week done and dusted, and judging by the number of posts on this forum that *arent* by me, I can only assume that I have stunned you all into boredom.

    Ho Hum.

Anyway, more massive scores this week with Miek Lancasters ‘Allergis Vagyok’ scoring the seasons highest with 77! Helped along with a whopping 4 clean sheets and Fernando Torres chipping in with a couple of goals. At the other end, lowest score of the week came courtesy of our Dutch Master Jasper Van Der Blieks ‘Zyzarzazz’, who’s 10 men limped in with just 21 points.

Other movers and shakers? Jason Gabriels ‘No. 1’ slipped to Number 3, replaced at Number 2 by Josh Greens ‘Go Go Theos sideburns’, whilst ‘Arsenal’, expertly managed by Ian Sims kept the pace at the top.

At the bottom its unsuprisingly Jaspers ‘Zyzarzazz’, propping up the league and providing a small morsel of comfort for Martyn Beacons ‘Dog Toffee FC’, who were second lowest scorers of the week with 26 points. making up the relegation battle are Anthony Hodgetts ‘Eleven men in Flight’ who didnt quite fly, but certainly moved up a place to third from bottom.

I always MSN Jasper and say – you taking out Sheva this week? And he is *always* ‘I’m too busy, I’m too busy’. How long does it take!!!!

Jasper is using this as ‘proof’ that he works too hard for affiliates to bother with competitions to win free money for himself. Personally I’m all for it, though it would be a hell of a shame if an affiliate won! We need to chase Simmo down!

Come to think of it, I bet Jasper’s the brains behind Simmo’s success. He’s a clever bloke is Mr van der Bliek… :sarcasm:

Woo. What a week. Some short, fat, stubbly bloke with ridiculous hair who is owned by one company but works for another has been making headlines all over the place with his comments about how everything should be run and generally stirring up comments left right and centre. But enough about Carlos Tevez, lets get on with the action.

For the first time this season the league table seems to be getting back to normality, with Chelsea, Man Utd Arsenal and Liverpool in the top 5. But whats this? Hull City are 3rd? Whatever next – A Hull City defender in the top scoring players?

Well yes, actually Michael Turner is on a whopping 41 points this season, only one behind top placed Boswinga of Chelsea, and at only £4.7 million he must be worth a look.

In the league this week there was a massive mix of scores, from 10 man Zyzarzazz scoring 16 points through to yours truly hitting the heights with 80 points thanks to contributions from every member of his team, including 5 goals scored.

No change at the top with Ian Sims’ ‘Arsenal’ staying at Number 1, whilst ‘No1’ move up to second. Allergis Vagyok move up to third, pushing Go Go Theo Sideburns down to 5th.

So the table now, with the adjustments for Nicks Rambo and Haslem is as follows

    1 Arsenal Ian sims 49 411
    2 no1 jason gabriel 62 388
    3 Allergis Vagyok Mike Lancaster 65 380
4 Manila Lovers Utd Tony Adams 51 371

    6 Mascarpone Utd Tobias M 47 361
    7 QPR 2nd XI James Rosen 44 360
    8 aliandem joanna gandy 48 359
    9 Melon Ball Neil Mitchell 80 358
    10 Priestfield Rejects Tom Galanis 49 357
    11 taskeshicastle Bob stein 40 354
    12 Webroute Spurs Yoni Sidi 40 354
    13 bluetoffee nick gandy 63 351
    14 Pratts Players Alex Pratt 57 342

    16 pokertorrentz Kasper Wagner 42 337
