I’ll never forget …….not meeting you in Vegas …. though we walked right by after you’d been horribly mugged but some scumbag.
We were just minutes…… perhaps seconds behind you ….. I remember looking at you and feeling sorry for the guy holding the bandage (ice pack) on his head. (Vegas police were already there).
Vegas was really an eye-opener for me after that. I’m so sorry we didn’t know it was you.
You handled it with your usual class act …. but make no mistake ….. it was still un-excusable by Vegas to have allowed it to happen considering the security they have.
there are blind spots on the strip and in Vegas in general. It is also one of the most dangerous places in the world because of the need/greed of those existing there.
we were lucky not to have been just ahead of you. I know I’m not as big and likely not as tough as you…. probably would have killed me.
you may have been since that time. I have not had that opp …. but look forward to having these chances sometime soon ….. so please all keep praying for me to get off probation soon.
I suspect this a bigger reason for not having conventions there as any.
