FigaroMemberThe Department of Motor Vehicles is a government agency so technically, a driver’s license IS a government ID. What’s next with these people? They are driving me MAD!

I was going to get a passport card for $30 bucks but decided to send a sample first and they said it was a no go.
Just in case others were wondering.

I understand why they might need to start accepting new forms of ids for new users, but I am not sure why those who have already proven/established ID need to reprove who they are again and again and again! As often as they have been requesting id proof I have a feeling they are looking to confiscate money!
Transpose this scenario over to your casino players having to prove their ID every month. It makes no sense at all. Albeit a new account application for Paysparks and yeah you’ll need to follow the identification process.
But established account holders? Sounds a bit dodgy, doesn’t it!
And with relation to government ID a drivers license is exactly that. Last time I checked each state is responsible for issuing a DL. These Dept., are operated by the Government, hence a DL is a Government document which proves one’s identity.
Sending a scan of a passport always makes me wary. Not to mention it maybe illegal too. If it’s not illegal in your jurisdiction, then it’s recommended to send a scanned copy in black and white only, for obvious reasons. I’d probably also blank out the passport number too

I was looking for the thread last week but could not find it despite repeated searches.
They did a 180 on the usa id, now you can send a color copy of a drivers license or passport card front and back.
Its illegal to have places like Staples scan a drivers lic, they won’t do it. I would imagine they won’t scan a passport either.
btw id theft is around 20 per minute. Not sure if that is worldwide or just usa.

gokkenMemberWhile Paysparks may use a UK address and ties back to subsidiaries & or direct business partners of MGS. The last time I held an account with PaySparks the issuing bank for these ATM cards was located in Lebanon. I sure wouldn’t want my passport being forwarded to any place like this, given identity fraud is at an all time high these days.
Only have to see how some casinos & affiliate programs treat email confidentiality. Nuff said, hey!

InactiveJust got another notice saying I needed to supply a passport … sadly I have money in there and my card just expired. Surely hope this does not turn out to be a cash grab!
Hell renewal of passport is around $200 – and who wants to send them that? WTF is wrong with a government issued drivers license grrrrrrrrrrr.

gokkenMemberFrom my recollection the issuing bank is located in Lebanon (or was). At one point tied back to Carmen Media/MGS and Payspark support came from the UK. Maybe this has all changed now, maybe it hasn’t.
Given you have no idea who is receiving your passport scan, how it’s stored or even if it’s verified then distroyed. I personally wouldn’t be encouraging you to send it.
Then again IDK how much cash you have tied up in Payspark. If you do decide to send it, make sure you send it in Black & White. Never send it in colour.
If anyone ever disputes it’s not colour then it could be falling into dubious hands.

InactiveWhat pisses me off is my data has not changed – same person, same address, same phone, same etc etc … why they need to request info again is a crock! Only time they should need to update info is if/when my info changes!
So MGS is tied to payspark huh? Yep, likely will be a cash grab.

We will be waiting for your reply.

CSC24Seven.com Ltd.Clearly this is another MGS cash grab – USA affiliates get your money out before your card expires or you will end up losing out too!

I want a Ferrari F430 Coupe:

However I don’t really need it.
Same as Payspark and their request for a “color” copy of your passport.
They may want a “color” copy of your passport BUT they certainly don’t need it. A black & white copy would provide the information they require. End of story

If it was me, I’d be contacting my home land security office and reporting this!
Here in Australia it’s a federal offense to give anyone a colour copy of your passport. I believe Government Departments are the only exemptions to this law. I’m sure it’s probably the same is the USA.
Albeit when visting overseas, hotels may request your passport and hold it, however Payspark is not a hotel and your not travelling overseas.

gokkenMemberVisited https://www.csc24seven.eu/ and see they’re now in Cyprus.
I wonder if these ID checks and refusal of Government ID (USA Driver License) has anything to do with the “Haircuts” Cyprus banks forced onto accounts over $100K.
Given casinos force all kind of expenses on affiliates (even software license fees), it just as likely CSC24Seven (aka Payspark) are using a similar mentality here.
How many people are going to send a copy of their passport in color, besides, not everyone has a passport.
40% hit on their accounts by the Cyprus bank, solved!

I certainly wouldn’t be sending a passport (black or white) to this place!Domain: csc24seven.eu
