InactiveIt’s tricky trying to trick Google with regard to Adwords. Usually what happens is it works for a little while, and then: banned for life with no warning and no hope for reversal.

vladcizsolMemberThat is whats happened in the past to quite a few webmasters so as stated its very tricky and risky.

zigmundovichMemberOk that’s clear.. but how do you trick them
Just curious.. not planning to get banned for life..February 12, 2009 at 6:27 pm #795223Anonymous
InactiveI am not sure they have to have a UK domain I thought?

InactiveMost of the old ways of fooling Google don’t work anymore for example people used to switch the ad on when google wasn’t in the office and then switch it off when they came in…..I am sure there are new ways but the people in the know are never keen to share
Re the new rules where affiliates can target UK and Ireland through PPC – I don’t believe you have to be a UK citizen – I know they have to inspect your site and it has to be promoting white listed jurisdictions and be socially responsible etc etc – Some one in the know will be able to comment better on that

You have to see, they are a business, so whatever makes them money is good, if it were us, we would probably act the same way no? :cappy:

xentechMemberI was looking at advertising on google, but thought it wasn’t worth being banned for life lol. I am using Yahoo, but it is still a little frustrating. If I want to advertise in Google in the UK I have to pay somthing like $6,000 to register with the gambling commission over there! bwahahaha F that! Anyone have any other ideas on how I can launch another PPC campaign? I tried Adbrite, but they were putting me on torrent sites and I don’t like their placments. MSN is good too I hear. Thanks! Sorry if I hijacked the thread
If I did then just don’t respond lol.January 20, 2010 at 11:13 am #807609

Is it possible and what they do against it. There should be some planning behind this….:sarcasm:

burundiMemberIt used to be easy as making new campaigns every two days.. eventually I got an email from them, telling me they would de index my websites if I continued to exploit.. so like others have said, its trial and error..
Word of advice, dont use your money sites.. or premium domains. Use something unique on worthless domains..

InactiveGoogle has gotten way too big, in terms of projects, to have time to totally police the Internet. Further, the Internet has gotten way to big for Google, so things will fall through the cracks. I would advise not to try and “trick” Google, as it may only come back to haunt you. How do you know that if they find you and ban your site, that they won’t seek out your other sites, and ban them as well ? Is it worth a few week (or months) of illegal Adwords ?

biggygMemberwe use google adwords for some gambling keywords but we always use a domain worth $9.00 and just have a sign up form no actual gambling content.
