InactiveYes I agree.. I know of a casino site that has a direct link on their homepage to a competitor of me. Can’t be happy with that.. Altough if I were the one with a link on a casino site I wouldn’t complain..

Certain affiliates were asking for back links on the landing page, home page, etc. Our concern was that we couldn’t jeopardize the domain name of our merchants. We decided instead to do a ‘featured affiliate section’ right on the Income Access site (in progress). We like that, because there is a review of the affiliate, it has more value than simple SEO, that we don’t have to go through the ‘hmms & haas’ of the merchants, and that we can have lots of featured affiliates. + We have better ranking than many of our merchants.
Luigi, is this a potential solution to the problem?

vladcizsolMemberLuigi other then negative posts do you have anything else to share here at CAP. Its an endless parade of anonymous shots at just about every program and its getting a bit old. Please cut it out.
FYI Many programs offer links to their key affiliates. This is nothing new and I see nothing wrong with it. It benefits the AFFILIATE as a reward for their support. Rather then try to eliminate their links through threats why not build up a portal or two that merit a link from the casinos? That would be a much more positive and effective solution then the “if we cant all have a piece of cake then none should” outlook on business.
Are you going to “out” the affiliates that have links next and shame them too?

InactiveSorry Professor. I guess I’m just a little sick of this industry’s bs and want it all cleaned up. But I’ll shut up now and let every issue that needs to be fixed just be ignored.

Inactivemaybe its time to stop counting someone else’s money and start concentrating on your own business…

vladcizsolMemberExcellent idea Luigi. We can solve things better by working together positively. A single angry man shaking his fast at the world produces nothing. :hattip:

Inactiveprofessor, all I said was I will not promote a casino that links to one other affiliate. discuss if you wish. my other thread was, please stop spamming me, or rather, you spammed me enough, now I will tell the world about you. my other posts were in a thread like best casino partners who were taking away players revenue from us. yes, injustice angers me, sorry. man, what a negative ass I am! sorry I do not look at the world through rose colored glasses.

vladcizsolMemberLooking at them through shite colored glasses is no better.
I dont mean to be combative, but it would be a pleasant change if you posted something positive once in a while. Cheer up man, all is not doom and gloom.
Luigi here in the states it is a holiday week and we should all be in a festive mood not cursing under our breath. Thank god for the wonderful things he has given us and seek a higher ground and more success.
Overall this IS a marvelous business. It’s not perfect, but nothing that has the hand of man on it is. If 100% perfection is what you seek in this lifetime you wont find it.
My suggestion to you is take some time off with family and friends and refocus on what really matters and why you should be here. Thats to build a MORE profitable business, establish new relationshsips and friends and learn and share with your peers and make their better for having you around.
We need more good solid affiliates, we dont need prosecutors and inquisitors. Thats what television is for.
Have a happier day my friend.:hattip:

Not sure if you read my post, but when Mainstreet changed their terms and conditions because me and other affiliates pointed out that their terms were not favorable, I was the first to praise them for a great move and said I would do everything in my power to promote them now. See, it works both ways. Do something great and I will praise you profusely, do something sh-tty and I will call you on it until it’s fixed. But since you think ignoring sh-tty things is the way to go I will leave your forum as you wish.
Happy thanksgiving.

InactiveGoing back on topic for a moment (
), what is your issue with the affiliate backlinks on casino sites Luigi? I’m intrigued as to why you see this as a problem.November 27, 2008 at 1:25 pm #788452Anonymous
InactiveYeah, what’s shitty about affiliate links?
I don’t see the problem. We link to whoever we want too.
November 27, 2008 at 2:04 pm #788455Anonymous
InactiveI agree with Luigi on this. If I send traffic to a casino – I want it to convert. If they have a link (particularly from their homepage) to another affiliate, then there’s a chance that my traffic is going to click on that link and therefore be of no benefit to me whatsoever.
