2008 PLANS
It’s 18:00 in Israel in the Galilee Mountains where we live and the boss ;P has a list for me to take care of before our friends come over for shabbat dinner, so I can’t go into any detail now. But what I can say is that what we are going to be doing this all together! Owe, of course, more importantly – and that the boss is coming to London with me so I can finally introduce you all to my superior half!

I suppose in most eyes, this is a major accomplishment. Unfortunately, nothing to do with Bryan Bailey holds a grain of salt with me.
Sry to rain on your parade but, just the mention of his name, makes my skin crawl. He is supposidly in the biz to help. Well, a few years ago, I emailed him several times as well as put in to his “Pitch a bitch”. to try to get monies due to me from an affiliate so that I could get a cab to see my Mom who was dying in a Hospice.
All requests and emails to Brian went unanswered. I never receive 1 reply from Brian. Fortunately, the affiliate manager got intouch with me and I did get my money. That was the last trip I took to go see my Mom on my own. The next trip, thankfully, my Aunt took me to her. That was the day I watcher die.
Sry if I am a bit bitter but, I basically humbled myself and begged Brian to help me. Perhaps this is not the place to vent but, I did email Brian with my feelings and I am sure that went unnoticed, too.
With that, I will go away as Daera will come put the leash on me:tongue:
More4me, I’ve always seen CM as being the player forum and CAP the affiliate forum. So, if you were having problems with a payment from an affiliate program I don’t see how Bryan would have been the correct address for help… CAP/GPWA would have helped you.
On the other hand, when there are JF player complaints Bryan very often demands from me that I take the complaint to JF casino management and get their immediate attention to the player issues. And if we don’t address the player issues fast enough he let’s us know.
So, while I’m very sorry about what happened to your Mom, I don’t believe it’s correct to bring Bryan into it.
And the reason I am so excited about these awards is because I hold Bryan in the highest professional regard. In the past when we have messed up he has been the one to make sure it gets fixed up.
No insults intended but please remember that nobody is perfect and just because someone didn’t do something you needed at a time that was critical to you doesn’t turn the other person into a bad person. I’m sure you have messed up in your life, I have.
Whatever the case I’m very sorry about your Mom.

I am sorry to hear that too, more4me, but it’s not Bryan’s thing to deal with affiliates, although he has been known to help. His site is made for players primarily, and he considers himself a webmaster rather than an affiliate and has a small webmaster section targeting tech aspects of webmastering. He is usually swamped with player requests for assistance.
I too hold Bryan in high regard and consider his awards an expression of player opinion above all.
It’s also good to hear that your affiliate manager did take care of you, that you got too see your mom alone earlier and were able to be there at her passing. I, too, went through this not too long ago and I do understand how important these things are. I will never be able to forget one single moment of this time with her and am sure you feel the same.
Back to the slots – the tournaments are ever increasing in popularity.

You are correct that Brian’s thing is no to help affiliates but players. I was grasping at straws. It would have been nice if he at least sent me an email stating that he couldn’t or wouldn’t help. Anyway, it is water under the bridge at this time.

It’s bad enough being an only child and your Mom being your rock. What really sucks is I never so much as bought a pair of underwear for myself. Mom always bought all my clothes. Only because she had the patience to find tiney undies and clothing in a size 0. Yea, I’m a small bean:Cry:
