I think this is great. Everyone is discussing what can make Casino Coins improve. Like everyone here I have been sending less and less traffic over the years, since no one seems to deposit or remain loyal.

Thank you for fixing the cd problem. But what it boils down to, and what affiliates take into consideration before all is how much money a casino earns them. Right now Casino Coins went from my top performing to one of the worst performing networks i promote. The bottom line is how can things be improved. I sent 300 or some hits this month and have zero players. This is unacceptable. Any other casino that I promote would have averaged me 5 or more players. So right now it’s a losing proposition for me to send traffic to the Casino Coins properties.

I really want to improve my performance with Casino Coins, but before doing that I need to see some numbers to prove to me that it’s worth my time. I had a blast meeting everyone is Las Vegas, and it was dissapointing that I could not afford sending you enough traffic shortly after, it seemed like my traffic was not converting.

I have noticed that the casinos all experienced makeovers lately, and they all look great. I think that these are the best designs since the year 2000. Some of the prior designs looked scammy, while these look elegant and professional. Now pretending I’m a newbie, who has never tried an online casino, there’s something about all of your casinos that would frighten me.

When I visit Caribbean Gold, in the title it reads that the casino was established in 1998. yet on the logo it states that the casino has been trusted since 1997. From a newbie point of view this is conflicting information and would take away any trust. I realize that you’re probably talking about english harbour properties been trusted since 1997, but someone new would not know this.

But the biggest thing, is that there’s no about us page. If there is, the page isn’t easy enough to locate. If I’m going to be depositing $1000 somewhere, I want to know that my money will be safe, and who i’m dealing with. There should be an about us page stating where the casino is licensed, where it’s located, who operates the casino, maybe even a picture of a customer service rep, anything would be better than nothing.

I went to visit English Harbour and I encountered the same lack of information.

Something else that players might be frightened by. If you click on the antigua and barbuda logo on english harbour website the following message pops up:

‘This is not a valid preferential seal. This company is not licensed by the Directoriale of Offshore Gaming in Antigua and Barbuda’ that is not a very welcoming message. If I read that i would never return to your website, or to the casino directory that recommended your website. That message is basically stating that the website is scam, and that you’re crooks posing as a valid casino.

Sorry if I sound harsh. I think there’s room for improvement. I noticed this from looking around your website for 10 minutes or less. I imagine that most players who decide where to gamble make a decision in even less time.

Thank you for taking the time to listen to our suggestions.

I think that a big part of there bad conversions can be chalk up to OddsON software. I know CC won’t change that but I think that if they made a change to say RTG or Boss you would start seeing conversions over night.

    Just my two cents

I thought the software looks pretty decent, with some games no one else offers. Not sure if it would improve things moving to another software provider or not. But you could be right..

Captain have a few for me,

I think most people would agree that CC converted better with Microgaming software than with there current software (Oddson). It would be interesting to see a poll on that.

I have heard that as well. I didn’t promote them to much back then. However not sure RTG or Boss would improve things. But you just never know.

    I don’t know a single Boss casino I would trust/list.

Does somebody actually make money with them?

the worst producing casinos I ever listed were Boss and Starnet.

so for me anyway, a switch to Boss would be making things even worse.

*note- I haven’t listed a Boss in about 3 or more years, they maybe are changed. but I wouldn’t waste any traffic on them.

In my first post I was thinking that they were with on of those providers then I remembered Micro. That’s why I said that.

I agree they would prob do better with Micro..

As of early next week, CD registrations WILL carry the
affiliate ID. Furthermore, you will be able to see the
number of CD registrations and CD customer sign ups
    that take place.

    Connie,
Can you explain the tracking you will do on the cd’s.. I am a bit confused here. You said you will traffic referrals for the cd’s for webmasters but how are you going to track the actual download of the cd? If a affiliate only sends one customer for a cd’s are you going to be able to hard code that cd?

Yali pointed this out in his comments to me

As we both know, our CDs are hard coded and therefore
not a viable tool for low volume distribution. Since you
received 500 CDs customized with your code, you
would have known that better than anyone else.

There is no doubt in anyones mind that Casino Coins would do better without Odds On. But unfortunately that’s not going to happen, if they switched to RTG profits could easily double.

But since this thread is about improving the overall program i’m thinking that we should focus on things that we know they are willing to change.

As for boss media making money, I’m close to 100k in earnings with Jackpot Palace.

Now I feel the need to step in. I was trying to stay mostly out of this because I wasn’t using the aff program for more than a year but I now feel compelled to offer some insight.

CC properties stopped converting when they moved from Microgaming to Odds On. Not only that, I lost all my accounts until Connie helped out and found some that had downloaded the new software.

But they didn’t play for long – maybe once.

After a while, I simply dropped EH group from my sites. Every time I would temporarily test one for a few days it was the same – nada. This despite the fact that any other casino I test always has some activity.

Got2Bet is not a huge traffic site – but it is no minnow either and attracts a fairly strong number of people without the need for outside advertising or traffic, though we do test those from time to time.

As such, any program which is exposed on Got2Bet will achieve various results – with CC and Partnerlogic being the worst so far.

EH group then approached me and asked to buy a position – and I repeatedly reminded them that they didn’t convert and not to expect any strong results from their campaigns.

But they insisted, and I have no problem with the integrity of the software, or the management in general, so I accepted the buy, which gave them the Featured Casino position on the top left of my site, as well as the top position in my newsletter.

Those two positions convert better than any other. I could put Ancient Prehistoric Casino in those positions and get decent conversions.

Not with EH – not even with the Flash banners. Over a period of three months, we got ZERO – repeat – ZERO conversions.

    Absolutely impossible.

The only conversion we got was when we put up a Millionaire Casino High Roller bonus as the new site was being launched and the campaign was technically already over, having run over its alloted period for 30 more days. And this High Roller bonus was not part of the campaign, but a last-ditch effort by me to try and help them recoup some of their expenses – even though I was in grave doubt as to the accuracy of their stats.

Right now CC/Yali could print my CDs, engraved in gold, create personally tailored websites to suit my needs, even build me a special downloader program – and I would NOT promote them because I am firmly convinced that their tracking is broken, and/or manipulated.

I’m sorry, Connie. And Jaime. And Rod and Paul and Judy.

But there is no way in hell the system is working properly and I cannot in good faith allow this charade to go on. Maybe if you make some changes and then show me the results, I will change my mind.

But not before – and no amount of posturing, threatening, bullshitting, or promising will change my mind and the minds of many other affiliates here, I’m sure.

Connie – you are welcome to contact me as long as it is you and you only. You know where to find me :)

Wow. The ones I had were prestige, queen or something like that, riverboat (I guess now they’re closed down) and a slew of others and between them and starnet and iglobal’s heavy thumb its a miracle I stand before you now.
Back then I was too green to know to toss the non-producers rather than keep them as an added variety as a service to my surfers… that whole line of thinking will get you poor in a hurry.

But I was really determined so it took almost 6 months for me to start getting how things worked. Man those were lean months.

Then I finally landed a whale … I’m talking my commission was $10k the first 2 weeks he played.

Unfortuneately It was with a now defunct Quicksilver casino and its manager Mike Dibley (or something close to that) never paid me anything.

That all was mighty painful but here’s the real rub and oldies to newbies should remember this as I would save you the miserable experience of being at such a low point, then thinking all your problems that were so heavy before, were for the most part all of a sudden taken care of: ……. back to the realization that you were never going to see any of that money.

Get the links to non-producing, or non/slow-paying casinos off your sites immediately!

I am not kidding. I had at the time of landing this whale; been in the process of deleting all of that casino’s links. but hard as I tried, I could see in their stats that I was still sending 30 hits or so each month.

I couldn’t find the link(s). And sure enough, I ended up losing that whale to place I knew was bad, that I’d been trying very hard to find where this missing link was at; (best I can figure is a player followed a cached version of my site because at that time I didn’t have but a site or two, so it was no trouble to weed the garden, so to speak).

would I have signed him at all if not for his choosing quicksilver casino?

Who gives a damn! I’d much rather have not went thru that ordeal if those were my choices.

    So weed your gardens well.

I learned the really, really hard way.

    PS

that casino went out of business for a reason. it was run bad, but I like to think I really helped it along to its grave as that was the only time I ever learned SEO with serious intention.

I targeted Quicksilver’s name and I swear this is true; at one point i had at least 3 or more listings that came up just under Quicksilver’s listing; which at times I even held first position over them; .. go figure.

and every one of my listings started out in big bold blue type (google) Quicksilver casino cheats by non-payment of funds to people it owes.

I admit I left out the word “affiliates” and inserted the word “people”…… but other than that I was telling total truth.

and anyway, any time somebody typed in Quicksilver, Quicksilver casino, or any combination of the two, you’d get at least 3 listings in the top 10 that started out with words like cheats, non-payers etc.

I went after them hard. Heck, I had nothing else to do with my time, I sure wasn’t going to be running out to buy anything any time soon.
