vladcizsolMemberCAP members and their guests are free. Guests are defined as spouses, family members, business partners etc… What did you select under Attendee type?
You have to select CAP Member or Certified Partner or the system indicate you have to pay for a pass. This is to allow vendors or non certified programs to come if they pay admission.

biggygMemberWhen i entered guest it also asked for payment. Also it looks like a package deal is cheaper for us than just booking the room through CAP.It will not allow me to register unless i book my room through that form either. They need to modify a code so we dont HAVE to book the room.

vladcizsolMemberI just checked the form again and it doesnt present payment options for passes unless you fail to select CAP Affiliate or CAP Certified Program Manager. I even listed a guest and wasnt prompted for payment of passes.
So I am having trouble replicating what is being reported.I will have them fix form so that you arent required to purchase a room.
I can’t imagine you getting cheaper rooms at Atlantis the rates we have. If you are finding them cheaper somewhere we need to know so that we can go back to Atlantis and ensure everyone gets the lowest rate as that’s what we were guaranteed.

biggygMemberLou on packages with airfare 10 days + it does work out cheaper to buy a package than buy airfare seperate .I believe we would get the special rate just the 3-4 days that CAP is going on then will pay higher rate.

InactiveYes it is confirmed and double confirmed before I even made the post about it and I spoke with a Gerlina to double confirm this is an agreement set in stone that they have with each other. I am really pleased myself because with the industry being the way it is I cannot afford the Atlantis prices bring my family.

vladcizsolMemberI have the programmers adding 0 as an option for number of hotel rooms requested. You are not required to book rooms to attend CAP Spring Break. If you do stay off property we cant guarantee you access to all the events, but if thats a chance you are willing to take that’s ok with us.
CBG I have the Atlantis people checking this out and will post back, but we have a contract that guarantees the lowest possible rates for those rooms for our attendees. I just checked at Hotels.com and the Coral Tower Rooms are $450 per night. I also asked Atlantis to verify that you cant get the rooms for less by booking a package with airfare, they insist you cant but we are following up on that too.
We did reserve 200 rooms so that everyone would get the absolute best rates avialable at Atlantis. We are NOT receiving any commission on room sales, so if you really dont want to book your room through us thats fine.

biggygMemberLou if we get $230 everynight you are correct but if we get 4 nights at $230 and 9 nights at $400 then package is cheaper .

vladcizsolMemberI need a link to the package deal please so that I can show it to Atlantis sales office. I know they are going to say its not fair to compare a 14 night stay coupled with airfare with a 3 to six day stay, but if I can get them to come down on the rates for everyone I will.

I went for the 6th to the 12th for 2 adults and was quoted 1253 for that entire stay with king bed, ground floor and full access to atlantis and if you can get them to go down that would rock as I just saved it so far with my credit card and not cost has been charged to me yet.March 26, 2007 at 11:00 pm #731988
biggygMemberI have a live travel agent here in canada, not a link . I will make a point to go in next day or two to get a print out of all the particulars with her so you can see that you are comparing apples and apples.the price was over $9,000 but had 13 nights accomodations

gamesdexMemberThis might seem like somewhat of a materialistic question, but are all the events I see referred to, e.g. dinner, golf, fishing and the like free to registrants as a result of sponsorship. I’m considering signing up, but as I would be coming from the UK the flights aren’t cheap and it would be a necessary factor to know when budgeting.

InactiveThat is the beauty of CAP events everything is FREE but your flight and hotel. You will be happy you flew in from the UK believe me and many deals are struck at these conferences.:happydanc
