hi, I posted this in another thread, but maybe here is better…

I wanted to ask why some times it’s possible to edit a post that i wrote and some times it’s impossible? is there a time period after publishing a post that locks it for editing?

I’ll let someone else give the official response, but to my knowledge, you have 24 hours in which you can edit a post. After that it is set in stone and you would have to ask an admin to edit it.

ok, too bad…
actually I thought of doing something nice:
start a thread with a goal, and summarize it in the first post, and afterwords people that reply and give feedback and there is a conversation so I continue to change the first post according to summary of the feedbacks, and eventually this thread will be a nice summary of this topic (that will be in the first post), and people can see the discussion in the posts after
but for this I need to be able to edit the first post all the time,
maybe it’s possible to do this some how?

I’m no longer receiving emails when someone PMs me. My settings haven’t changed and they have the appropriate box checked. Also checked my spam folder and they aren’t there either.

I have had the same problem for months, seems like a lot of people do. Not sure if anything is being done about it.
