biggygMemberThank you for your interest in Bodog’s Affiliate Program. Regrettably at this time we will have to decline your offer as an
Affiliate. We have visited your site and noticed that there are a number of online gaming
companies that are already Affiliates with you, making it hard for us to expand our presence on your website. Moreover, we
generally work with sites with a Google page rank of at least 3. Placing only banners on an affiliate site has proven
unsuccessful for the affiliate and for us in the past.Thank you again for taking the time to contact us and for your interest in Bodog.com.
So my new pokersite is not good enough for bodog LOL.Darnit LOL.

InactiveI think they don’t want to pay for the certification.
If everyone knows that they are good they don’t need to prove someone that they are really good.
They have a very good base of affiliates and they don’t need to recruit new, because new affiliates will find them without CAP.
They have very good affiliate managers, for example, my affiliate manager is very responsible and helpful.

InactiveBodog has always been picky.
Not sure what their criteria all are, but it’s not just the revenue you can create, although I am sure that figures in the euation. They look at a number of things, PR, competion on the site, reputation of the site, look and feel and I don’t know what all.
Hehe, almost like a google algorhythm.
They do take very good care of their affs. Responsive and courteous.

InactiveYes, you are right Dom, therefore I like their site very much.
It was the first ghambling site offering casino, sports, poker which I liked. I really like professional sites with perfect design and layout.Truly I don’t make a lot with them, but I really like them because I like what they do and how they do.

biggygMemberI am realising I am surrounded by idiots and to get things done right you have to do it yourself .These idiots are in my physical space , they are virtual idiots , they are the tech people who work on my 3 servers. And i own 3 servers in other parts of the world yet cannot find a company in canada who can work with Rsync ,I can go on and on but I will stop there.Oh and I am translating a galican project and I dont know galican LOL.And tomorrow I have to get all my stuff to the accountant to do my personal income tax:cuss:
thank you all for letting me vent

Inactiversync is easy, don’t your techs know how to open a man page?
March 28, 2007 at 9:04 pm #732350
biggygMemberTHE SERVERS are not always compatible.Yes we work with rysnc but there are servers who dont support it .signed up for a server last week and have paid the fee and then they tell me no rsync support, i dont want to have to use another server as a proxy to upload and the price was not the best either.

Inactiveyes, especially I like this and agree with it:
“Gamblers will gamble, and the Internet allows for the highest levels of access to that desired form of entertainment,”
“It is never going away. Ever. “

InactiveDo they have negative carryover? I was doing great last month then checked the delayed stats for last month today and someone had had a gigantic win last night and totally reversed everything earned.
